lol no i just slapped his chest once and squeezed his hand mostly. just glad he had his hair cut as i kept wrapping round him and getting his hair. mostly tol him not to tell me to calm down hes wasnt the one in agony lol

wow ! congrats to you on your beautiful bundle and glad to hear it was a quick labour ! x (hope you didn't do too much damage to the other half !)

i posted the other day that i might have gone into labour but honestlt thought everything would stop like usual. butit didnt

all day therewas nothing just wanted to be close to home and a bit grumpy but i put that down to being 9 days over. then went for a bath and felt something with a big dischage. it wasnt my waters just a big blob but after having a show all weekend i put itdown to that. at 8.30 husband went to put ds to bed and 15 minutes later first contraction hit. i didnt think anything of it as it lasted for ages but they kept coming. i knew i was 4cm gone from sweep so after a while started to time them. thy were 11minutes apart lasting 1 minute.

shortly after posting on here i was joking with husband whe they suddenly (and i mean in one go) dropped to contracting every 3 minutes. got husband to ring labour ward who said to go in. i got there at 11.20pm andwas told i was 6cm gone already andwas now contracting every minute. waters went at 11.30 and at 12 i started to panic as i was going so quick i felt like everything was ripping. had to have pethidine to calm me down wich was given at 12.30.

i started getting sleepy when that kicked in and was adviced to kneel on bed so i didnt fall over. its a good job i did as i had 3 contractions on the bed then everuything changed and my body was pushing with or without me so i had to go with it. midwife was fine with that untill the head slid out and in one push and there was no one with her. all i heard was a paniked stop pushing from midwife so she could get someone lse in and it was so quick. all i could do was say to late as the next contraction was there and the shoulders were out. i delivered at 1.30am. 4and a half hours later.

was disapointed in myself at first as i screamed like people you see on tv and hit my husband for telling me to calm down. but i thnk i just wet into shock and my midwife agrees as it was all so quick i had no time to get used to it all.

evie grace wittle is stunning though. a healthy 8lb 1oz 10 days late on the 1st october at 1.30am.  home now with no tears or stitches and all doing really well.
