Kaylah Margaret Rose was born on the 23rd of september (her daddys birthday) at 12.25 in the afternoon weighing 9lb 11.5oz.
Well i had a sweep on sunday 21st but was told my cervix was still at the back and thick so it might not work. Well not alot happend that day or the monday.
For some reason on the tuesday i was up at half 5 as i couldnt sleep so went downstairs and started cleaning while everyone was asleep was on all 4 cleaning my floor and everything lol. Well at half 9 then i started to feel uncomfertable and my belly was tightening so just got on with things as didnt think much of it as there was no pain. When i started to get the tightenings every ten minutes at about half 11 i phoned the midwife as my last labour was only 50 minutes lond and didnt want another shock labour. So when she come out to check i was 4 cm dilated so she sed she would give me another sweep to help things along. Well at 12 i had my show and had a painful contraction well midwife said as soon as i had pain to ring her back out so i did. She got here at 12:15 and iwas fully dilated. Ten minutes and one push later my darling daughter was born. I didnt have any pain relief as i didnt have time and didnt find the pain that bad. Didnt need any stitches or nothing either.
Well she is now 2 weeks old and has been sleeping through the night since she was 4 days old so its nice not to have the sleepless nights.
Well done everyone who has had their babies and good luck to those still waiting its all worth it in the end. xxxx

huge congrats hun.
so spooky reading your birth story as it sounds almost identical to my daughters birth!
2 hour homebirth from pain to placenta didnt get time for internal so midwife wrote established labour 20 mins from my waters popping just as she got there to delivery. 8lb14.5oz no stitches, no pain relief and born the day before daddy's birthday 24th sept (her due date was his birthday but she obviously didnt want to share cake lol). its lovely when it happens so fast can leave you a bit shaky and shocked for a few days though (all of mine have been fast which is why i go for homebirths).
she has a beautiful name hun glad you are all doing so well x
