Go to the forum list and at the very bottom you will find past due in forums. Click on that and you will find Oct 2008 after that you should find Louise's page no problem. Tracey X

    HI guys,

Just found some time to log on for a wee chat.. Lou i can't find your new thread ... aarrgghhhh ... so posting in here

Congrats to us all for delivery lovely boys .... whats the chances LOL ....

Can't believe Christopher is now 4wks old and over 11lbs... acrually near 12lbs ... thriving i think they call it LOL

Kirsty glad you and Luca is doing well and the breast fedding is going good, i lasted for 6days but found it too demanding and sore ..... Christopher was too hungry .. he is thriving on bottled milk so not looking back.

Sleepless nights are very diffcult and finding it hard to get myself organised during the day, but heh it's only 4wks .... just seem to be counting 4-5hrs LOL

Christopher is becoming more wakeful during the day, so hopefully can really get out and about with him

So how are we all coping with our new arrivals)?

    Hi girls

Great to hear that you are all doing well.  Time certainly does seem to be flying!

Lucas is now 8 days old - I can't quite believe it.  He is doing really well and seems very contented, although i'm slightly worried that it may be because I'm still on strong painkillers after my emergency section and they are making him a bit dopey!!!

Breastfeeding is working out very well and I'm not even sore (yet)!

Tracey, so pleased to hear that Gregor has settled well into family life.  Loving fact that your DD is so protective of her wee brother.

I'll move over to the new forum too - will be nice to stay in touch.

    Take care all

    Thank you girls,

I'm glad I finally made it all be mid November - so much for due in October. Gregor is doing great even though he didn't let me sleep last night. Feel like my boobs are about to fall off with all the breastfeeding on demand.  Its amazing how it all comes back to you. My daughter is so overjoyed at him but can't bear anyone other than us holding him.

Hope you are all well and enjoying motherhood.

Congratulations Tracey im so pleased for you, I kept hoping you would go soon. The name youve chosen is lovely. I hope you are both doing well.

So thats all of us had little laddies, mummies boys. Maybe thats why they wanted to stay put longer getting used to be tied to mummies apron strings. (lol)

Glad everyone is doing well with their little bundles, think ive found a miracle cure. Was told to try vaseline on his face and head to see if it would help as all creams seemed to make it worse. I thought it wouldn't work but tried it anyway and it has cleared his head and has reduced it on his cheeks. so everynight before bed i cake his head and face in it.

Well i need to go have to go to physio to sort out my stomache muscles.

    Evening girls

Well I kept up the Scottish mums dio and had a bouncing baby boy this morning in Wishaw at 6.58am. His name is Gregor and he weighs 9lb 1oz. I absolutely love him to bits. Got home tonight about 6.30pm and the kids just are over the moon. A very quick labour. Mild contractions started around midnight. By 3am they were 5 minutes apart and by 4am they were barely 1 minute apart. My waters broke and he was born after 2 big pushes. All the pain was soon forgotten when I held him in my arms. I think it was the thought of being induced tomorrow that sent him to me.

Kirsty so glad to hear from you, glad you and Lucas are getting on great. Sorry to hear you had to have an emergency c section but very well done. The October boys are all here time to celebrate.

Night All - Very happy mummy of 3 Tracey XXXXXXXXXXXx

p.s Sorry I didn't text you Louise but was supposed to top up phone today for tomorrow but didn't quite get round to it.

    Hi all

As you've read I had baby Lucas on Saturday at 9.15am after being induced on Friday at midday.  Long labour but his position meant I didn't dilate past 8cm so ended up with emergency csection.  Finally managed to escape from hospital yesterday.  Lucas is just fantastic and I'm loving having him at home.  Got zero sleep in hospital so pleased to finally be home.  Breastfeeding has been great so far, other than my milk taking until today to come in, not wonderful with a hungry big baby!

Tracey, been thinking about you these last few days in the hope that your baby would have decided to come out by now.  Are you being induced on Friday?  Still a few days to go on your own first so I have my fingers crossed for you!  I know you must be really fed up.

I can't believe that everyone so far has had boys!!  Tracey the pressure is indeed on to have a bouncing baby girl!!!  I was in a room with 3 other women who had all had sections and they all had boys too!

So, no driving for 6 weeks for me - not sure how I'm gonna cope with that but I suppose it leaves me with no excuses to get on out there with the pram!

    Hope you are all well

Wishing you lots of labour vibes Tracey!

Hi Girls, Well sweep number 2 performed at MW this morning and I'm still here to tell the tale. Looking like Friday's induction is going ahead. Fingers crossed not too many Lanarkshire ladies go into labour on Friday morning or I'll be sent home and return the next day. Send me as much vibes as is physically possible to make me go tonight.

Speak again tomorrow - Maybe!  Hugs Tracey XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Good luck Tracey with the MW

A sweep worked for me and Vari for hopefully it will work for you  The end is in sight Tracey.

I survived my first night alone - paul went back to nightshift last night.  Peter fed at 8pm, down at 8.30pm and he woke at 4am right back down and up and 8.10am this morning. He has done this a couple of nights now so hoping it continues  He is now on 5 bottles on 24 hrs and they are 5oz bottles.

Keeping everything crossed for you today
