do seem that a lot are from monsoon expensive but may be of some help.

next do some really flattering matty party stuff too

I had the same problem..I have a wedding next saturday (day and night do) Couldnt find anything for weeks! I finally found a really nice black and white maternity skirt from dorothy perkins and a black top from New look (maternity range)

Not sure if this helps, but I saw a couple of really nice pretty maternity dresses in the Red Herring section at Debenhams. 

Also, Next have some pretty maternity tops that you could wear with a smart pair of trousers maybe?
