My official start date is the 4th October, but I have 5 days leave I can take. I think I would have gone made being off for too long, especially as I'm sure baby will be late.

At the moment as I work from home, I'm enjoying watching the olympics, but will probably get depressed when that finishes...

I baked a cake the weekend before last, I would suggest stocking up the freezer with nice meals and cakes. My nanny used to bake fairy cakes, jam tarts etc then freeze them in ice-cream tubs. Just think how yummy they will be when you get out of hospital and don't have the energy to cook.

I'm hoping to stock up on some other simple meals.

What about doing a big online supermarket shop to make sure you have all the basic cupboard stuff you need so you'll only need weekly basics afterwards...

How come you starting so late? I'm starting late cos I can only afford 12 weeks off and want as much time off with bubs as possible instead of sat at home listening to my dp snoring away lol (he works nights) .  Have you been and met your friends lil girl yet? xxx

ha ha Bex. I was furious with dp for absolutely nothing simply bcoz everything is everywhere and can't find space 2 put the wardrobe we buying bcoz of his stupid cabinet. He's obsessed with it and wants it in our bedroom. It was his dads and i guess we stuck with it.
