i wouldn't worry about the xrays either, marcus has had about 30 so far. sometimes had 2 or 3 a day at one point when his chest was really bad.4/9/08 09:06
I wouldn't worry untowardly about X-rays either, they wouldn't do them if there was any risk to your baby. Glad you're home and it sounds like all is okay now :-) xx

hiya hun, try not to worry, its pretty common for people to be on blood thinning drugs while pg. I myself am on 2 needles a day of tinzaparin. This is because i had a clot with my 1st pregnancy, so as precation they put me on these drugs each pregnancy. No harm will come to baby from these injections. hth. xxxxx

Hey hun i noticed you were worried about the clexane injections you were given. I was on clexane at the start of my pregnancy till afew weeks ago due to having a blood clott in the past its really common for women to be put on it if they are at risk of a clott in pregnancy its fine really. Theres a whole post on the high risk forums about it if you want to read it just to put your mind at rest

Went up last night as for the second day i had been getting chest pains and had got a really bad on about tea time yest. Ended up getting kept in as they thought it could of been a blood clot, got injections to thin my blood, got an ex-ray then had to be taken to another hospital for scan of my lungs. Turns out everything is fine it was either a very small one which the thining injections sorted out and isnt there any more or they have no idea lol
Atleast whatever it was isnt there now thank goodness and i only spent one night in hosp now im just getting worried if any of this has affected my bubs between the x-ray (with a belt round my waist) and the clexayne (blood thinning drug) and another scan which nothing much could be done to protect the baby apart from reduce the amount of radiation.
Has anyone else needed x-rays or scans and everything has been ok?
xxxx
