Tomorrow is the big day - my 32 week scan. I can't wait to see pumpkin again, my bump has been jiggling all over the place the last week or so, so I'm excited to see who is making all that fuss in there!
At the same time I'm pretty nervous.
My previous scans showed up an amniotic band. I think it's more likely to have been an amniotic fold or sheet as explained here http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/scans/amnioticbandexpert/ as no-one seems to be overly concerned about it - I think they would be if it were more serious.
Hopefully this scan will show that it's gone now. If it is still there, it means baby has less room as it partitions the amniotic sac. Not sure of the consequences but I'm guessing it means he or she might want to come out earlier than 40 weeks, or I'll need an earlier section which I'm really hoping wont be needed.
All I can think is that if it's still there, I can't possibly go to 40 weeks as the poor thing will be running out of room.
So, I'll let you all know tomorrow. Wish me luck it's at 11:20!
