Awww that's great to hear something positive.  good luck with it for labour I soo hope I get seen soon, could really do with some relief if anything. lol

Going off the subject (sort of) I am currently having acunpuncture for my sciatica and it is truely amazing   I highly recommend it. When I first started having it I was having treatment twice every week, and have now gone to once a fortnight. You can guarantee that at the end of the fortnight I am needing the needles. I got another session 2mw for my back and my acunpuncturist is then going to start to get me ready my labour

B3ckie yeah your right i've not reached term yet with any of them.  I hope I get an appointment soon and will certainly let you all know how it goes. 

Mw today was terrible though i swear she don't care so haven't bothered telling her about what happened last night lol

I'm sure i have read that you haven't gone to term with any of your kids, isthat right or am i inventing stories again lol ?  I'd love for mine to arrive anytime now.  He is a good weight already, i was told to expect a 9lb - 10lb at term so figure he must be at least 7lb now with only 3 weeks and 6 days to go lol!

I wasn't going to go up the hospital tonight (for the volunteer breasfeeding peer support thing I do as i visit 3 wards and help mums with bf issues etc. last week next week anyway) but I went and I'm sooo glad I did.

There was a mw on one of the wards and she saw me walk down and said how long left that baby sure is making you waddle loads.  I said 8 weeks left and it certainly isn't the baby that's making me walk like this.  She said oh what's wrong then so I mouthed piles to her and sat down in the chair.  Now everytime I sit stand well do most things I end up with tears in my eyes from the pain.  She asked me what I was taking so I basically told her everything I've told you lot in other posts and said about seeing mw tomorrow and getting her to look.

Well she then said to me have I tried acupunture I said no as I've not even seen mw to let her know how i feel etc, she then said hang on a minute got on the phone and called the mw that does it explained the situation and said can we treat her as staff and get her seen urgently as she's in a lot of pain with this the lady on other end of phone said leave a referal down in reception and i'll see when I can fit her in  so the mw wrote all my details down stating what I do that i'm a volunteer worker etc and what my problem is and saying that I'm staff to treat her nicely  so just got to wait for the phone call now.  Can get her to do me something for the SPD as well if i'm going to have it hehe.

she did mention that there is something else I can be given but it has an anesthetic in it so has to be used VERY sparingly in pregnancy etc especially (and this is her words not mine) your huge, looks a good sized baby and it's droppped a lot i can't see you going term, we can't have it going near baby.
