    i had one at 34 weeks, then next at 36, one at 39 & 41 to discuss induction if needed x

    saw mw at 35+4 and am back there at 38+4, hopefully for the last time!!!

    I last saw my MW at 35 weeks, I see the DR at 38 weeks and then MW at 40 if I haven't given birth by then! I feel slightly forgotten about LOL!

    mine hve been,

    8 weeks: booking appointment

    12 week: bloods taken

    17 week bloods taken

    23 weeks

    28 weeks

    31 weeks

    34 weeks

    not sure about rest

    I am on weekly visits with consultant and fortnightly with mw now (as i was at this stage with ds) but its due to complications in last pg x

    mine have been the following.

    10 weeks (booking in appt.)

    15 weeks (consultant appt.)

    23weeks (midterm scan)

    24weeks (mw appt)

    28 weeks (mw appt.

    32weeks (mw appt)

    36weeks (consultant appt and scan)

    37weeks (mw homevisit and homebirth booking/bringing homebirth kit)

    dont have any more appointments now although have been told to book in to see her at the surgery in the next couple of weeks if i want to get checked out only appointment they have free though is for day before my due date lol.

    40 weeks (hopefully wont need it but will be booked in to see consultants/ have sweep and book in induction for 10 days overdue)

    p.s my pregnancy last year appt were. 14wks, 25wks (should have been 38 but i booked in early), 31wks, 36wks and last one was at 37wks.

    These schedules are for first time mums tho so its different if its not your first im on my 3rd and mine are as follows:

    8 week booking in

    12 week scan

    16 weeks mw and bloods

    20 week scan

    28 weeks mw

    32 weeks mw

    36 weeks mw ( at my house) (birth plan)

    and she wont see me again unless i go over or want a sweep or have a problem.

    I'm East Sussex and mine went.

    10wk booking in and scan as i didn't know LMP

    12wk nuchal translucency (sp?)

    16wk check up

    20wk anomoly scan

    24wk check up

    28wk bloods and check up

    31wk check up

    34wk check up

    36wk check up

    will have 38wk check up next week

    then not sure if i will get a 39wk, but i know it goes 40 and 41 if not delivered. xxx

    I'm in Essex and I've had and am scheduled for:

    12 week - booking in, 16 week, 20 week, 24 week, 28 week, 32 week, 36 week, 38 week, 40 week.

    Sarah - 33 weeks today!

    I'm in the East Midlands (not sure if we fall under Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire) but I have seen my midwife as follows:

    8 weeks - booking

    12 weeks (ish!) - daiting scan

    16 meeks - mw (with bloods)

    20 weeks - (detailed scan)

    28 weeks

    32 weeks

    35 weeks

    After that I have no idea - i'm never told more than one appointment in advance!

    i'm in manchester and my schedule is

    5-9 wks booking

    11-14 wks scan

    16 wks mw

    20 wks scan

    25 wks 1st time mums mw

    28 wks mw

    31 wks 1st time mums mw

    34 wks, 36 wks, 38 wks mw

    40 wks 1st time mums

    41 wks all mums dr for induction chat.

    i was never given a schedule i ve so far seen my mw at 9 weeks,  17 weeks  24 weeks and 28 weeks, i didnt have another appointment till i was 35 weeks but rang up andkinda moaned that inbetween appointments i wouldof waited 7 weeks to me that a long time compared to the others but now i have 1 tomorow at 34 weeks. so all in all not including tomorow appointment i only had  4 appointments, mybe its differnt in differnt areas of the uk/.?#

    There have been numerous threads asking how often we should be seeing the Midwife in the later weeks of pregnancy which I have answered a few times.  Hence I thought I would create a new thread giving this info and will try to remember to keep bumping it.

    I live in Sussex and was given a schedule titled The Care of Low Risk Pregnancy which shows my appointments as follows (Midwife had always stuck to this apart from when I was showing signs of pre-eclampsia a few weeks back and saw her weekly):- 

    28 weeks - Glucose Test then Midwife for results

    32, 34, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41 (if not yet delivered)
