with my first i had a show, which like the others said was greeny horrible bloody gloop, then about 10 mins later i felt a pop and a gush. on the bed,,, typical. with my second i had neither, they tried to break my waters to speed up my labour but lo head was too engaged so all my waters came out behind him.

With my 1st one i didn't have a shw it only came out when i was in labour at he hospital and waters went when i was pushing dd out. So this tme i'm paranoid incase i brake my waters in public or something.

my water went with a little trickle with my dd, it was my forewaters, it was just like i kept wetting myself every so often, but i couldnt stop it, so i knew it was my waters, with my son my waters didnt go at all they had to be popped at the last minute before he was born

With ds, My waters went with a big gush when i was in established labour, and there was a pop!
I think my show was the night before and was like the others have described!
Ive had bits of show with this one but not expecting labour anytime soon!

shows are really viscous. they will stick to you, not just fall away like urine does. youll prob most likely to notice it on your tissue you use to wipe with. only going by my experience though, so yours could be a bit different.
not sure about waters yet, havent got to that stage. But by all acoounts, if your waters go, theres no missing it. It would only be if you have a steady trickle, you might not notice as quickly

A show is a greeny, snotty mucus type discharge that is thick and often has blood in it too - it's lovely lmfao. I had mine 2 hours before giving birth but know people who've had them a month or a few weeks before giving birth - they can also come away and then seal over again iyswim.
Waters, well mine had to be broken but they sometimes gush (a mate of mine said hers was like the little britain character who p1sses all the time and kept coming for what felt like ages), sometimes they come away gradually - my Mum thought she'd leaked a little bit of wee when hers went with me and my brother, it was more like a trickle once in a while and she actually wasn't sure it was her waters. HTH a bit. xxx

the show is obvious, as you generally get it when you wipe on the toilet..
as for the waters, ive been told i may have lost mine at some point as theres no fluid surrounding the baby. There was a day when i needed to pee every 15 mins - so not sure if i mightve lost them then?
Also i think you can mistake your waters going for discharge/wetting yourself.

Bien a first timer, This might sound a bit stupid to some professionals that av done it b4 but when thease shows and waters go a take it is obvias when it happens like you could just go to toliet and not notice ?? am gettin paraniod
