    my midwife said something about knowing you were in labour when the pain gets too much to handle! as you say every pregnancy is different.  Mine are keeping me awake when they start about 2am. a friend of my mum's is a mw and she says you try and keep moving when getting the pain, not sure if thats to ease the pain or to aid the process! good luck

    its strange how diff this preg is to my 1st, but hey ho, like they say they are all different!

    lets hope they dont get too painfull then eh as im coping with them now but not sure how much more i would be able to take..lol

    don't worry you aren't alone i've been getting them for the last week, they certainly feel like they are getting stronger so hoping that labour isn't too far away! its the cervix effacing  (shortening) apparently, my mw told me to think of it as the body putting down the foundations of a house or rather preparing itself for labour.  a friend of mine had them for 2 weeks before going into labour.

    FOR THE LAST 2 DAYS NOW, BEEN GETTING LIKE PERIOD TYPE PAINS ON AND OFF, BUT MAINLY WHEN IM STOOD UP AND WALKING, THEY NOT TOO BAD ATM BUT JUST WONDERING IF N E ONE ELSE GETS THIS?

    THIS IS MY 2ND BUBS BUT WITH DD I HAD NOTHING PAIN WISE UNTIL CONTRACTIONS STARTED QUITE QUICKLY.
