Can I just say, I read this thread last night and thought "No way"...until I jumped out my bed at 9.10am this morning and my waters broke! I'm not due until 21st! Freaky!!

oh yeah lol, looks full to me too..... and my waters are still firmly there. dont think its guna work for me but ya never know. x

Hmm.. the full moon is supposed to be tomorrow night? I look outside and see a full moon tonight! Or is it just NEARLY a full moon? Haha, looks full to me, anyway!

I was born on a full moon and so was DS1, OH and DS2 were born slap bang in the middle. This one is due on Saturday but got my fingers crossed for some time in the next 3 days

Ooh just checked, i was born 11th April 1979 and there was a full moon on the 12th!!! Didn't work for DH though, but my Dad was born the day before a full moon aswell.

The site i found when i googled was www.moonphases.info
it goes back to all past full moons to 1940 !!

Just like to say my sisters waters just broke she has 3 weeks left and is having no contractiosn so think it could be to do with this. Should be my waters tho im overdue not her lol

Jezza - lady who started thread in MDIN.. and my mistake.. Full moon is tomorrow night - I was looking at the wrong website.. BUT.. they say that either side of the full moon including the full moon.. SO ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN FROM NOW.

The original post says wednesday but google it and its tells you tuesday 14th at 20.04 i think roughly time.

confused is the full moon tuesday or wednesday? ppl have put different. hope it works for me but really cant see it happening, got my fingers crossed but we will just have to wait and see. i wonder how many dio babies will be born on the full moon. x

Just checked out the dates for full moons for mine and dp birth dates:
Mine; D.o.B = 04/06. Full Moon = 03/06
DP; D.o.B = 04/12. Full Moon = 01/12
I can see myself getting addicted to checking peoples now, the phrase "clutching at straws" springs to mind....

g/c from din, i went into labour with dd on a full moon, she was born at 36 weeks. my mum also had my sister early two days after a full moon. im 36 weeks now and theres a full moon coming up... i wonder

oh good - there is some hope yet!! im due thursday.
Yeah and lesleys waters broke and she not due til very end of month and my sisters waters broke yesterday with no contractions and she is not due for 3 weeks.
Asked my mw today if it is true and she said they have a moon calander up in labour ward and put stickers on it for every baby born around a full moon 2 see if its any busier and she said it isnt but can this all be coincidence?
