    Hello  girls,

Sorry been lazy with internet. Well doc doesn't see me going back to work but only signed me off for 2 weeks coz I asked for it. Next week I will work Monday, Wednesday, Friday, have asked for Tuesday and Thursday off just to try it. Managers say they need to be sure my health and baby's are not compromised but I don't think that's the case, I'm just in pain that's all. And exhausted. I said after that week I will be able to tell whether I think I can handle work for the following 4 weeks or better listen to doc. Here at home I feel as heavy as a massive rock, need help with getting up from the couch, and the crutches shatter my hands, can't win. Dunno if work is such a good idea but I want to show that at least I'm trying.

On a positive note, got my crib delivered today and hubby and I are totally in love with it. It's sitting in the lounge hahaha, we've been staring at it all evening.

Also got some baby vests from ebay which were not described as for tiny babies, they are only for up to 3,4kg! Could fit a doll! Baby will probably be BORN that weight. Wished they'd be more accurate sometimes.

First of September, wow... I'm due in exactly 2 months. Unbelievable. And baby has hiccups again, like every single day hahaha...

oh no Chaz.. lets hope you escape crutches.. how you getting on Lynn with your crutches? is that you off work now? .... i am still waiting on physio but not that bothered as not long to go and just making sure i don't walk to far.. going to walk to and from playgroup very slowly.. 20 min there and back.. 3 times a week.. but will drive down to pick DS up .. as think 160 minutes of walking for 3 days is just too much.. ! still can't help feeling bad for driving though as only takes 5 minutes .. if that to drive!

welcome to the secret gang.. ! I have managed to keep it from all family and friends but have told a few people on here via PM or MSN... just cause I HAD to tell someone so go on PM me (kidding.. or a text even... lol).. and had to be someone who couldn't possibly let it slip to my family... is wonderful knowing this time isn't it? or did u know last time too? I will never forget the surprises of my DS but am equally enjoying the knowing this time..

Awww I take it he was wanting the opposite sex to what you're already having and it's the same? I'm sure he won't be disappointed anymore when the little one is there!!! My manager was disappointed that his girlfriend was having a boy, and now I saw a picture of him staring at his little boy, and he is totally mesmerized!!

Thanks Kerry, I might do that thread or if I'm patient have a look through all the pages in an attempt to find the earlier one, do you remmeber how long it's ago? I'll end up on page 64 or something!

I'll let you know tomorrow what doc said, am so jealous,  would have loved to enjoy this beautiful weekend in Portobello but hopefully next weekend will be nice again so I go coz I'll have my new best friends then, the crutches hahaha...

    Hi everybody :D

I'm 30 weeks today, woohoooo!!! Unbelievable!! Hurt myself yesterday at work, sat on a table in a really stupid position which clearly was bad for SPD, and when I stood up to walk away I almost fell coz couldn't bare any weight on right leg at all, agony, I cried there in front of everyone - how embarrassing. Called my Medical Centre, they asked me to come in on Monday to get crutches. So now on the weekend I am confined to the house and am not even sure how to walk the 300m to Medical Centre on Monday, argh. Managers told me I should get signed off work...

Definitely starting to feel I should buy some stuff for baby now lol. So can I ask you for some advice. Wanting to do something for the environment and not use Pampers etc, not particularly keen on putting pooey nappies into washing machine either though. I have "studied" Bambino Mio, Smart Nappies, Tots Bots, as far as I understand you can add a layer which can be flushed down the toilet. Does anyone have experience with those? Which are the best?
