When dh's sister was pregnant she really wanted to give baby her maiden name (Jack) if it was a boy. Only problem is that baby's surname would have been Russell.  I had visions of the child being tormented at school with woof woof noises following him everywhere he went.  She didn't seem to see any problem with it, although she wasn't very amused by me lmao Luckily she had a girl.

when one of our neighbours friends was pregnant we were sat having a discussion about names. she sed if she had a girl she would like to call her molly after dps nan. and if it was a boy richard after her dad. seems fine i know. but seeing she was marriedto a bloke with the surname head, really hoped she had a girl as people shorten richard to d*** (i know this coz my dads richard and theres so many in our family and his work they all have different names0 so her little boy would be d***  head. luckily we pointed it out but she had a girl anyway so all was good.
