I actually left my DP because of this - it's an addiction! the first night we brought DS home I went for a bath and he promised to watch over the baby, I found baby in the moses basket next to his desk (on the floor) and him sat there with his bloody head set on swatting elves!!! He's recovered now but it did take over three years of his / our lives!!

I'm almost ashamed to say i played it myself until a few months ago, as did my husband, will probably play something else when i go on maternity as i leave work 5 weeks before my edd,and will most likely be late!

he doesn't but i have got it for when i'm on maternity leave because i'm a bit of a geek!! the first time i played it i was told by a 14 year old boy i should be ashamed of myself and asked whether i have a life though...so i'm not sure its anything to be proud of.
