Pains under the ribs (is that where yours are at the top of your bum) can also be a sign of pre eclampsia, I'd seriously ask MW to check you over hun.  XXxx

I would call the mw just on the basis that swelling can be a sign of pre-eclampsia.. Not sure about the rest but the mw knows all (supposedly)

I'd phone the midwife if it were me, after all thats what they're there for x

It might be worth talking to your MW about swelling though, for sure.

lol exactly the same as how i am and have been pretty much all week, theres a few others that are the same too but mw's and gp's just tell us to get on with it!

Hi girls,

I hope someone can help me;

I have been pooing loads the last few days (been twice already today)

My fingers are swollen

My Ankels are swollen

I have pain ( like a griping pain) across the top of my bump

I have lower back pain,

Baby is moving around okay and seems to be fine.

Any ideas? I have midwife Tuesday afternoon?
