Am due Wed.  SPD stopped me in my tracks on Thursday.  Am now housebound as cannot walk due to the pain and have been told not to drive.  Induction booked for 1st December if no joy before then.

I'm due tommorrow   there has been such a massive countdown to the date, it's brilliant to read about others due the same day! It's my first so i'm guessing i'll be overdue tho....

im having lots of cramps lately, getting worse as the days go on, but its normal to have them, as the baby drops down lower, apparently.  i havent had any more contractions since the other day

im starting to feel very frustrated now, only 3 days til my due date. god i hope im not overdue.

Well today is the first day that I have actually given up on trying to get back to sleep, after laying there, twiddling thumbs, reading a book for about 2 hours.

I never even realised about  everyone else having early babies about from our thread, It kinda sucks in a way but in a corny way at least we are all in the same boat. As for the asking of any signs yet I am guilty of that one, sorry guys.

    Hope your all well x

What is going on with our thread, every other thread had LOADS of babies before their due date an all of ours are hanging on.  I think everyone else has used up our labour vibes!

Hmm, annoying, but I guess its just what people say to keep in touch / let you know they are thinking of you.  Find myself dooing it too!

    Hi everyone.

    Hope you are all OK?

Is anyone else getting fed up of people texting "any signs yet"???  My sister keeps texting me, according to my parents, she's worried about me, I wouldn't mind but this is my second child!  She's got two children.  My MIL even asked me the other day over the phone!  Don't they realise that if there are any signs we will let them know!

    Sorry rant over.

I hope you all manage to get some sleep tonight.

    Hugs x

    Hi Guys,

Nothing happening for me either.  I feel for those of you with  mil probs. mine is nice enough but so different from my family, hard to explian how really.  We hardly ever see them even though they live much nearer than my parents do, but asked OH the other day when his parents would be coming down to see the baby, and he said 'as soon as you go into labour'  lol!  I Don't think so!!!!

Mine say they aren't coming down for at least a week, to give us some space as a family. Not sure if its a bit mean to stop them seeing their first grandchild for a week but it was their suggestion. What you all doing?

Hi all, nothing happening at all today.  Stripped all the beds, went to put the clothes on the rope and there was a big rain storm.  I now have sheets and duvet covers hanging everywhere!  I would have put them in the tumble dryer but dh is home and it is not long since we had a huge electricity bill so he watches what I tumble dry like a hawk now!

My parents arrive tomorrow so it would be ideal if I went into labour after they arrive.  My mum is very practical and will take over all the cooking so I am very excited.  It also means my in-laws cant come at the same time so that is more of a bonus. My mil thinks I am a cold hearted snob and don't make friends easily!  lol Any of you agree? At least I have two wonderful sil's who have the same opinion of our mil.  We get together when we can and have a good moan about her.  It does help us to be civil to her if we know we can share our frustrations.

Hi guys sorry to hear alot of you are having a tough time, I have had no signs again not even a BH, I can see me being here in Dec (not due till the 29th).

Bev - I thought they had to induce you within 2 weeks of your due date? I would definatley have a moan to your MW or phone them direct.

Binkie - Your MIL sounds like hell, you will just have to insit that baby stays with you especially if you end up having a section, you can't be running around the house looking for your baby to feed. I would give her the task of entertaining your other children, which will help you out and keep her out of your hair.

Joy - 2 false labours, I keep expecting to see you on the November Births - I'll keep me fingers crossed for you and sending you vibes

Hi all, I thought it was with your 3rd baby you got lots of false labours but this is my 4th and I had my second false labour today!  I was doubled up with contractions, decided to go for a bath to help ease the pain a little as they were still only 5 mins apart then they slowed down and now are about 10 mins apart and not strong at all!  I am due Mon and have not gone over my dates with any of my kids but this one looks set to break the mould.

Hi Laura, hope you feel a bit better tonight,  I will text you tomorrow, know what it is like with mils.  My mil and fil invited themselves for Christmas.  I am not a happy bunny,  hugs anyway (((hug)))

Hi all, well saw MW yesterday and she said still 4/5ths but not to worry as this is my 2nd baby it doesnt really matter so much and plus he's moved! He was lying all on the right side of my bump but now he's turned over to the left side cheeky monkey!! Been having twinges all day on and off and tightenings across my bump which are a lot lower down now so you never know I may have a baby over the weekend!!

Hey Hun To be honest its up to you if you feel more secure in waiting for your induction date then do that but then you never no baby could come natually before your induction date! Just depends how fed up of pregnancy you are. Your sweep could work then again it might not. Mine didnt but i still asked for one as im really fed up of labour now. But ive got my induction date now for tuesday 25th and i no i wont be going into labour natually before that because i have to much fluid around baby preventing natually labour thats why my sweep didnt work. I guess its just whatever u feel comfortable with at the end of the day.

    Goodluck

Hiya all !!! not doing much.  I have mw tommorow the joys eh.  I am feeling so drained at the moment i think i just need start moving around more i am going do one hour of house work at 2pm then rest.  my mw has not mentioned a sweep should i ask for one or just wait to see if i get an induction date i may sound weird but i would prefer an induction as i had one with ds and know what to expect where will natural labour it is all new and I prob panic more.

Hope you are all feeling well and not long to our little ones will be with us.

    Hi all and welcome newbies.

I'm a bit gobsmacked this afternoon, got a letter from hospital with my next consultant appointment, it's December 15th. That will mean I will be 15 days overdue, can't be right can it? Really hoping I don't go that far over. My next midwife appointment is Dec 2 when I'll be 40+2,may have to have a grumble.
