    Hi girls...

Hope you've all had a good day!

Went shopping today to get some blimmin tracky bottoms for school. I can't fit into any so now I have to get mens size medium - which are baggy round the bum but fit everywhere else!!! Im going to look so attractive at school over the next  3 months!!

Whilst out I came up with a fail safe method of how NOT to choose your baby name!! Go to Primark at around mid-day, baby section (or to be fair - any section!) and just stand there whilst mum's shout at their kids across the store. Any names they shout out are not advisable as tend to be right up there on the chav stakes!! Oh it was awful!!!

Now I'm going to chill, watch the X factor tonight and laugh my socks off!!! What you all been up to?

Yeah, I've heard this too about the Step B tests.

Just as we were starting to relax about things eh? Well it is  rare to have a still birth. Must keep that in mind. We still have 3 months to go, too long to be worrying all the time.

Sometimes they will continuously monitor but after researching this it was found that too many unnecessary em. c/s were being performed because of not reading the results correctly. They can also monitor you non-continuously too to check baby's heart rate etc.

Most first time labours do seem to take hours/ days don't they. Scary stuff!

Emma was so excited too that she was going into labour, on her thread. Absolutely heartbreaking isn't it?

    I have a questionCrazyNurseAmi

Seemed from her thread she's been in labour a couple of days didn't it? Maybe baby got distressed. Emergency C/S in the end. Maybe nothing at all to do with being over due ???????????????

Another friend of mine's baby died during labour from Strep B and I was thinking of this yesterday. I'm planning to ask mw for a test for Strep B later in the pg as I don't think it's done as a matter of course here.

Don't know, just makes you think doesn't it?

Probably find out more when she is able to post. They will take samples of placenta and blood from baby (routinely I think) and other samples only if Emma and her husband want a post-mortum from what I rememebr from when my friend had a still born baby.

Do you think it was just 1 of those things or was it cos she was so overdue?

    Hi girls...

Its really sad - I've been thinking about it a lot and have been wondering whether it was because she was so overdue or just one of those things that happen? I feel so sorry for her - I have no idea how they must be feeling right now.

Hope you girls are well. I've not been on for ages - you can tell I'm back at school. Bloody knackered. Teaching PE has really done me in this week. Got another 14 school weeks left before I go on maternity though - how the hell????!!!

Just been to M & S for a Friday night meal - mmmmmm.. and BB! Speak soon, xx
