Just ordered my wedding cake.
Having one of the topper things from this company. £120 and it's tiny! Then getting another couple of plain tiers made locally for a lot less money!

I find my ball is really good when my back or hip is hurting or if I've got period-type pains. Really makes it feel better. Found out the cat also likes bouncing with me on it for some reason???!!!!
Night shifts are easier, generally less rushing about!!
More time for sitting and watching tv or reading but we're on call!!! Good money too.You sound busy Em. Just going to Asda tired me out yesterday, what am I like

Ha Ha! let me explain the reason behind the cake making! i brought a new electric whisk thing from tesco, and i want to test it out, and the only thing i can think of thats worth making is cake!!!

Glad your crib is getting sorted and nearly got essay out the way Ami.
Sorry to hear about your ohs step mum steph, i was in hospital last boxing day with contractions from my miscarriage (which had started on christmas eve) i was 13 weeks and it is such an awful thing but you cant feel bad for being pregnant. It wont be easy for her but im sure she doesnt feel badly towards you.
Im getting so fed up of these pains really bad pains around my pubic bone and i get a lot of lower back and abdomen pain really starting to get annoying now.
Went to cribbs causeway yesterday to see santa arrive and the lights get turned on ds loved it. Were taking him to see santa next week and have a little go on the ice hopefully.

Cakemaking!My plans are not a lot, working a night shift tomorrow night so I'll take it easy in the day, going to pop to town probably at some point, try to convince DF to buy baby monitor and a cot mobile from Argos. His Mum has given us some money for the baby. Also I'm going to Boots to spend my points on baby smellies!
Sunday will mainly be spent sleeping!We have an early appointment at hospital on Mon for a growth and presentation scan. 9.20 and hospital is a bit of a drive away, especially with the morning traffic. They want your bladder empty for late scans don't they?

Well... first 2 paragraphs of my assignment have been emailed to lecturer to check I'm on the right lines!
Our new crib is due to be delivered Tuesday.

Steph- Sorry to hear about DH's Stepmum. I know you've written on here about her before. I've got a friend who has been trying without success for a baby for around 2 1/2 years now and always worried about rubbing her nose in it with my pregnancy. I usually take her lead and if she wants to talk about it, I will or if she doesn't seem to want to I don't touch on my pregnancy stuff. Learn anything new from the a.n. class?!!
DF is home today, painting the bathroom. Tomorrow he's going to (try to!!) install a heated towel rail in there.
Emailed about our crib coz it arrived with a crack in the wood. Hopefully will hear back soon.

Awww steph im sorry to hear about your dp's step mum, that really is so sad
when i had my mc i had contractions but my body wasnt actually doing anything, i ended up in hospital for 4 days before i finally agreed to go to theatre.. dont feel bad cos your pregnant tho, its not easy seeing pregnant women after you've miscarried but you know its not their fault.. maybe you could just send her a text saying 'thinking of you' or something. life is so cruel and unfair sometimes... i have no idea why these things have to happen! How did your antenatal class go on your own? hope it went well!
Hows everyone else today? i had the worst nights sleep ever!! lol my body is seriously preparing me for sleepless nights! i just cannot get comfy at all!

Yay - another early finish from school for me today. For parent craft classes this arvo. Got to go on my own today cos hubby on school trip. Think I'm a bit nervous about going on my own - I'm so useless!!
Had bad news last night - hubbys dad and step mum (step mum only 38- bit wierd when he's 30, but hey) they've been trying for a baby for ages and unfortunatley she had her 3rd miscarriage. We only found out last night that she was a)pregnant for the 3rd time and b) lost it a while ago and was waiting for it to pass naturally and c) she got taken into hospital last night cos it still hadn't passed naturally and she was having contractions?
She apparently was around 8 weeks pg. I just feel so bad, because its her 3rd miscarriage, 1 is bad enough. and the fact that she was in hospital last night in agony because her body wasn't working naturally.
I just want to text her and say hope your ok but she's obviously not ok and also she wouldn't want to hear from me would she, a pregnant person.

No Jess, were only getting him 1 pressie though from me, df and ds but ds has a pressie for him for when hes born as well. We cant afford a lot this year but it didnt seem right getting him nothing (ridiculous i know as im sure he wont have a clue lol)
Glad alls ok Laura ive had bleeds, etc throughout this pregnancy and my heart stops beating every time.
I wasnt offered antenatal classes with my ds as i was moving and it was too late to have them here and now im on my 2nd i dont get offered any at all. Probably dont need them but wouldve been nice to meet people.
Take it easy today Jess and keep your bp down, i wonder how much mines gonna weigh. Ds was 6.5 pounds at 36 weeks but i heard 2nd babies are bigger but i feel smaller iyswim.

I got her 3 little things from boots (on 3 for 2) and my mum has brought her a couple of little things too.
I cant wait to write on the tag.. To Scarlett From Mummy & Daddy

Morning all...
Just back from my GTT test and im bloody starving!!!! i NEED food lol i get my results at 3 this afternoon so im quite impressed with that!
She also did my bp.. its gone up again, virtually to the threshold they have set for me being admitted again.. so i really need to chill this afternoon to get it down again!
Amy i felt exactly like that at our antenatal...It was good but i didnt learn a great deal, ive learnt so much on here and from books but i pretended i didnt know so i didnt seem like a know it all... was good for dp tho as he knows bugger all!
Laura.. sorry you had a poo night hun.. glad its just your plug and nothing to worry about! hope your taking it easy!! Think i do remember Jody from ttcal.. i may have to go and have a nosey to refresh my memory.. im usually pants at remembering people!
