Hi ladies - god thank god monday is over with (4 to go).  School is getting so tough now. I keep having to point to things that the kids have to pick up with my foot. Clare says it looks funny.  Felt loads better today after my weekend of rest.  Although my back is starting to hurt now.

Gosh I so wish I could zip off the fat suit for a couple of hours.  Not long now - 9 weeks and 6 days til due date.  Have you girls put much weight on yet? (I am 3lb off 2 stone now).

DH has just got back from Tesco doing the weekly shop.  I used to go and do it on a sunday morning but he wont let me lug the trolley around anymore and Liam is a nightmare going around Tesco.  DH is very good normally and we share the housework, but he was so good this weekend.  I feel better now the house has had a good clean.

Does anyone know how SJ is getting on? - would love to know if she has started TTC again.

Got my flower arranging tomorrow night so will have to rush and get my flowers as soon as I finish school tomorrow.  Going to make a simple table arrangement (well that's the plan anyway).

Catch up with you all soon.

Hope you are ok Maria and Kez!

Well my quiet relaxing evening took a bad turn when I recieved a call from my sister to say that a so called friend had kicked off on her on saturday night when she was out for her birthday Unlike my sister she did not react but asked me to have a word as she wanted to rip her head off lol! It has to do with their 2 15year old lads & eventhough she is my friend I can understand why my sister doesn't want her son around him. So spent the evening trying to appease both parties, only to call my parents & find out that my Nan, who is in hospital with fluid on her lungs might have a re-occurence of cancer that has gone from breast to lung! We won't know for sure till Thursday so am trying not to worry. I just feel for my dad. Sorry to put a downer on proceedings but I just needed to vent Off for another cup of tea lol! xxxxxxxxxx

Evening girls Agree about the fat suit Sal - although I do feel all baby at the front, it's getting a bit heavy!! At least once I get Monday out the way, that's my full teaching day so it gets easier!! It's all the moving about between lessons that gets me anyway - by the time I get there, remember what I'm doing, get everything set up... I may as well not start!! That'sll teach me to be nomadic!! I am actually quite ready for maternity leave which is surprising for me Your dh sounds like a wonderful man Nici - mine is relatively helpful but it does still depend on me doing exactly the same!! Thus nothing much is getting done at the moment Ah well, maybe I can get a cleaner?!?!? Hope Maria and Kez, you are both well, or as well as any of us are without aches and pains! Need to plan a "proper" lesson for p2 tomorrow - SMT are on walkabout watching lessons... apparently we all asked for this to happen!!? xxx

Good for your DH Nici he sounds fab for making you rest & doing all the housework. Liam's water fight sounds well cool too, I can't wait to be able to act like a kid again!! It's only water after all Hope all you ladies are having restful evenings. After teaching all day, doing break duty, managing about 10 minutes for lunch & then finding out I have 2 meetings this week instead of 1, I left at 3:30pm, walked the dog & have now got my feet up & am on to 2nd cup of tea!! Baby is mega active today too. I said to OH before that I feel like I have a fat suit on & just wish I could unclip it for half an hour as it's getting really heavy to lug about lol!! Wishful thinking eh! Well speak to you all later lv Sal xxxxxxx

Hey ladies - hope you are all having lovely weekends.

In-laws got home late last saturday (3 days later than expected), but were only allowed to come home on a scheduled flight.  They still weren't too good on sunday and went downhill a bit, but I think they are loads better this weekend.  Got to introduce food gradually into their diet.  Still waiting to be told exactly what it is though.

Liam is in the bath as he and the other boys who live in our cul-de-sac have just had a massive water fight with water guns and hose pipes.  He was absolutely drenched.  I was squirming and DH was shouting go on Liam.

Back seems a little better after relaxing most of the weekend (DH has insisted that I just sit down and not do much).  I have been finding it very hard to do nothing, so went and sat on the end of the bed and ironed for a bit.  DH has done all the house work this weekend and has gone through the whole house. Bless him he is good.

I have made a bit more headway with my hospital bag - I bought a nice new snuggly dressing gown, furry grey slipper boots (they are just so warm I had some last winter and a defo must for this year), new pj's, nibbles and boiled sweets, etc  and other bits like toothpaste n' stuff.  Need to start putting bubs' stuff in there now and I am almost ready for the off.  (I am dead pleased I have got it done coz I think I am gonna be like a beached whale in few weeks).

Found which changing bag I want - Baby Bjorn one (it's a hard case that zips and folds out) I love it!

Catch up with you all later - gonna go and make tea.

Nici 30 WEEKS TODAY - YIPPEE!

Hello ladies. Well I've had a fab day shopping & got some more stuff for the baby, bedding, blankets & clothes, but bouncer out of stock until 30th Oct! Also got some nice maternity PJs from tesco that have buttons down front so will be good for BF. Hope you have had good days ladies. Yes Katie 43/50 (22/25 & 21/25) lessons is taking it's toll but hey it's only for another 47days! Although I am getting really scared about labour now. I know it's going to hurt & that it has to happen but yikes & more yikes, I am quite scared to be honest!! Hope your back is better after a day of rest Nici. Did your in laws get home ok eventually after their stay in hospital? Maria & Kez hope you are enjoying not having to work, I am very jealous lol! Take care lv Sal xxxxxxxx

Hi ladies - gosh Sal and Katie you both sound so busy. I am just so happy it is friday and the weekend lies ahead.  Really struggled to keep going this week in school.  Was in complete agony on Wednesday with back and brought tears to my eyes in work.  I eventually succumbed and took two paracetamol.  DH has been away since Wednesday so it is so nice that he has just arrived back.  He has just done Liam's bath & bed routine while I relax.

Got parent's evenings the week after next which I am totally dreading.  I just hope I manage to make it through.  So pleased its only 3 weeks til half term.  I only have two weeks to do after that then.

Gonna do a little bit of shopping tomorrow morning then take it easy for the rest of the weekend.

Hope you have a nice weekend in Liverpool Maria.

Catch up with you all tomorrow.

Hellloooo!!! Well, this week we officially named "crank" week in the office!! Working with 3 Heads of Year, and me being in charge of all the alternative curriculum has meant that we have come across so many CRANKS this week!! Staff included lol!! Some of them truly are ridiculous!! Still, at least they have put out the advert for my maternity leave... it says you have to be "enthusiastic, have a good sense of humour and resilient"... and be able to teach Media and be flexible lol... who in their right mind would apply for that?!? It just indicates trouble!! Still have hip ache so am trying not to walk the length of school as it seems like bloody miles! Am tired too but am getting used to that lol Don't know how you're doing 4/5 lessons a day Sal - I teach 17/25 per week cos of responsibility (which is how I end up only teaching one on a Friday) but I'm finding that tough!! How are you coping with that Nici - bit different being primary in terms of "frees" I suppose? Am looking forward to a nice weekend - gonna go and do "bits and bobs" baby shopping... it's getting nearer! So... 3 weeks til half term, one week for half term, 3 weeks after half term, then 2 weeks and it's D day!! Chat later girlies xxx

Well I feel like my feet haven't touched the floor since my last post! It has been like groundhog day this week lol! Teaching 4 or 5 out of 5 lessons most days, open evening till 9pm & then getting home to make tea, walk the dog, sort out the washing etc. It was so wet last night that I drove down to the field to walk the dog but she wouldn't get out of the car lol!! Eventually managed to walk her but she didn't like getting wet, hilarious! Yippee it's the weekend, off shopping with my mama tomorrow & visiting my sister who turned 39 today lol!! Then to my bed, me thinks zzzzzzz Love to you all, hope you have had good weeks & will have even better weekends lv Sal xxxxxxxxxx

Oh Katie you just made me chuckle.  We will all be on the lettuce diet as of Feb - we can encourage each other.  Yeah loads of lovely food til then.

I really enjoyed my course (yeah Maria it is flower arranging - basics).  Didn't get to do any arranging tonight but learnt loads.  Going to make a small posy table decoration next tuesday (but I have to put my own creative twist to it, hmmmm!!!! Best get thinking hadn't I???)     The course is 10 weeks so I may not get to do the last 2 of them as it will take me right up to a week before bubs is due.  Wasn't mean't to be doing now was due to start last April but I made a co*k up with the dates.

Oh Sal you poor thing you really do sound like you are suffering. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just go into school and not have any kids to teach right up until we finish for maternity leave.

Right gonna go and make a Horlicks for bed and fill my hot water bottle (which I have to say really helps my back for the first part of the night - could really do with someone refilling it at about 2am though).

Catch you all tomorrow - try not to work too hard.

Lol to you Sal - was thinking that earlier... my classes create havoc when I'm not there!! Floristry sounds nice and relaxing Nici - good on you for doing something that's not work related for a start - where are you getting the energy?!? Maria - I have no idea how you are on christmas so soon - Nici either - I'll have to get a wiggle on!! Am very achey and sore now in my right hip joint - it's getting on my nerves! I am trying hard to carry on as normal at work but I have a feeling the pregnant woman hobble and the sound effects when I have to move are giving it away!! Feel like I am growing a big heavy lump, but had a big bump last time and dd was only 6lb14oz!! However, I unlike Nici - am a shapely size 16!! lol to me and my "curves" haha!! Am on a lettuce diet from Feb onwards I think - December and January can still be "fun food" - yay!! xxx

I'm so tired! My feet ache as have only just sat down & I didn't even have time to walk the dog before it got dark so feeling guilty Work is busy in prep for open evening tomorrow so what did they do, only go & add on a staff meeting on Monday night so have been chasing my tail since then with regards to planning & OE preparations! Also OH has been full of cold/flu since last Tuesday & as he is asthmatic it has now gone on to his chest, so has been off work & keeping me up all night coughing, spluttering & blowing his nose arggghhh! Does anyone else feel like they are constantly filling in LOA forms? MW appointments, AN classes & now a flamin MW home visit (how nosy!!). It's easier to teach than set cover work lol! Nici, your course sounds fab. How long is it for? Hope all you ladies are fit & well. I'm off to have a cup of tea lv Sal xxxxxxx

Hi ladies how r u all? nici u sound well organized too, if your all done by the time u go on maternity leave u will be able to rest up b4 the birth. Your floristry course is that like flower arranging or is there more to it than that? DP quite often buys me lovely flowers but i don't do them justice cos i haven't got a clue when it comes to arranging th'em. i'm being naughty tonight DP just gone out to get me a bolognese pizza, had a real fancy for one all day. nothing on tv so think we'll put a dvd on. have a good evening everyone. x ooh i've just noticed the xmas icons are here, i no its early but i'm gonna have to use one.

Hi ladies - hope you are all well today.

Hey Maria you sound like you are getting very organised.  I am about half way through my hospital bag packing (wrote a list of the things I still needs to get last night).

Liam was 8lb 11oz which was a shock as I was all bump and everyone wanted to know where I had hidden him.  I am a petite size 8 normally (5ft 3".  So I really am hoping that this little girly in my belly is gonna take after mummy and be a dainty little dot.  Here's praying!

I have started a bit of xmas shopping - got mum a dressing gown at weekend which she wants, got niece a few things here and there and some other bits and pieces as the weeks have gone by.  I bought all my xmas cards in the sale so just need to go get wrapping stuff.

Had a pretty good day in work - getting harder now tho.  Was mean't to be at Governors meeting tonight but hey ho the Head said I can take a break for a year seen as tho I am gonna be off for most of it.  Tomorrow night I am starting a floristry course which I have wanted to do for years (my mum and dad got for my 30th back in feb).  So excited I can't wait to start it.

Hope you are well Sal, Katie and Kez?

    Catch ya later

hi ladies, kez glad to see a post from u and that everything is ok with u. How are all the aching hips and backs now everyone? Sal i was just saying same thing to DP about x factor being predictable, but i keep telling myself that every live show that goes by is a week closer to baby being born. We haven't done anymore shopping yet, alot of DD's pressies are from ELC and every year we've had a 20% off voucher to use, only problem is we can't remember where we got them from. I'm not sure if it was in a mag i read or it came through the post, so we're just hanging on a bit longer cos u can guarantee we'll buy it all and then get the voucher. Got a few more family pressies bought and all the xmas cards and wrapping paper bought too. Got everything for hospital bag now too. I'm just about ready to go, roll on dec, lol. My bump is sprouting too, i'm worried about size of this baby, DD was 8lb 9oz and that was a struggle, i'm not quite 5ft myself. DS was 7lb 14oz much easier, but that was long time ago. What previous weights has anyone had? i hope u all have had a restful weekend. Catch up soon x

Evening girls!! Am now stuck watching "Alan Partridge" with dh in payback for too much xfactor lol!! I think wine does help xfactor Sal, but hey ho - a whole sober series!! I am in full sympathy with you Nici, except it's my right hip!! And I agree about the rolling over in the night which pulls down my side - nice I too went clothes shopping tho - to the Trafford Centre with dd and my two nieces (9 & 8!!) - bought two tops from H&M and a big long black cardi which will keep me warm for months!! Also had the obligatory trafford centre ice cream... and 6 mile trek to the toilet!! Paying for it now tho - legs are very achey. Mind you, do you all get achey legs in the evening? Like growing pains as a kid? Having had a bath last night ( am a shower girl!) I have come to two conclusions: 1) A water birth would be nice - the warm water stops your joints aching and means you can become the contortionist you need to be to shave your legs!! BUT 2) Due to the fact that the water helps the achey bits, it allows you to get your legs into silly positions which you then pay for later!! 4 weeks til half term Night night - hope you all sleep well (minus the three trips for a wee, and the achey hips!) xxxx
