Yoo Hoo Katie, Nici & Maria. Hope you are all okay. I don't know how you cope with athritis Maria pg or not, ouch! How long have you had it? Can you even take your medication for it when pg? Sending you a (((((((BIG HUG)))))). Katie, I am on countdown too & I have even longer to go lol!! It is so hard not to think sod it I won't be here soon!! MW said that I should be recording or checking for at least 10 movements a day after 26 weeks (I am 26+6) but the day goes by so fast when you're teaching that I don't notice! I can't remember if it has moved today or not! Would you be worried? Nici, hope you are enjoying your 1st night of peace without your DH! Take care ladies lv Sal xxxxxxxxx

God I'm tired today!! Had a meeting this afternoon and knew what I wanted to say but couldn't get my words oout in the right order - looked like a complete dumb ass!! Good job I've been there for a while lol Have just taken Ellie for her MMR2 jab - was good as gold, didn't flinch or cry! Have also got the primary school application pack which is a bit scary - can't believe that this time next year she will be in school... awww my baby!! I suppose I do get quite a few braxton hicks type things - tightening! Just makes me feel more like I've eaten too many pies and cakes rather than anything else!! Baby moves about such a lot now - particularly doesn't like it when I sit with my arms crossed over the top of my tummy - I get given some good kicks to move them lol Glad to hear from you Maria - I might complain about my achey hip but having arthritis during pregnancy must get very difficult - especially now we're all getting bigger. Hope your days have been ok Sal and Nici - I am beginning to feel a sense of countdown now tho... which is a bit early, and I ought to stop!! Haha - anyway, whilst I'm home early and Els is watching Beebies, might attempt to do some work so I can put my feet up later yay!! xxx

Hi ladies, hope your all well. I can't believe its been so long since i've logged on. The virus DD got has dragged on, i've been so tired but m/w got in touch today and the blood tests i had done on wed show i'm anemic again so back on iron tablets, at least that explains the lack of energy. Nici congrats on your pink bump, i'm really pleased for you. Sophie is a lovely name. I'm still a yellow bump but i'm sure this is a boy, so many  similarities to when i carried DS. I'm stumped for a boy names, any suggestions welcome. Saw consultant for my arthritis today, nothing else he can do to help while i'm pregnant, although he did say i have flat feet which will make pain worse so i'm seeing a pediatrist (total guess at spelling) on 29th to get insoles for my shoes. How are all your aches and pains now? u all do so well coping with it all and working. My bump is all up front, very high up to and i'm getting loads of braxton hicks, anyone else getting them yet? Have a good evening everyone. x

Evening my dears! Hope you are all good. Katie, hope your cold is getting better, You'd think after working with kids for so long we'd have built up an imunity to every germ under the sun but they still keep getting in lol!! Nici, I would be really pleased to be a C cup! I haven't grown yet but am starting out at 36DD so am quite happy if i don't end up looking jordanesque!!! lv Sal xxxxxxxx

I know just seems to be us three popping in all the time.  Hope Maria and Kez are OK?

Answer to your question Sal - when I was expecting Liam I had a bump which was lower and I didn't really put on any other weight til the last 4/5 weeks.  This time I have put on weight round my love handles and thighs and my bump feels like its up under my ribs all the time.  My bra size has gone from 32C up to a 36C already (this was all I went up to with Liam) and they are feeling tight now.  Rib cage must have expanded more this time coz carrying higher.

I am staying off til the summer - sod it.  If we have to scrimp n save I am sure we will get by.  Managed it when I had Liam and had more outgoings going out then than we do now (e.g. credit card, car loans - all clear now).  I finish on the 14th Nov.

Hope you all have a great week - urgh Monday tomorrow.

DH away wed to fri then sunday to tues night.  What a gr8 week.

    Nici

Yikes 6th December!!! I would go back for only 2-3 days before Easter hols 1. so you get fully paid over Easter & 2. A full week for your 1st week back might be a bit too tiring. I am going to go back on Wednesday just before summer hols for these reasons too! Nici did you carry lower with Liam as I think I have a lowish bump & am convinced i'm having a boy!?! Hope you have a good Monday ladies lv Sal xxxxxxx

Quite possibly I have it wrong lol but I thought this half term was the shorter of the two for us (Bolton often are a law unto themselves for half terms - not helpful when the whole of the rest of my family are teachers and so none of us have the same half terms anymore!!). I'm due 6th December - was gonna go off on 28th Nov but keep toing and froing with the previous week!! Am going back after Easter, and am only going off for the 17 weeks (can't afford to be off and just be paid SMP!!) - so am thinking, that it might be sensible to go back the week before Easter anyway to get used to it again?!? Plus if they (and that is a BIG if) employ someone to cover me, they are going to try and employ someone permanently (as my job is too big for just me now - and with us starting the Creative Arts and Media Diploma in Sep, it will get even bigger!!) - so in theory that person will still be there... and I can go back, and just do nice things - like talk to kids, plan for Sep 09, well anything else nice really!! Hmmmm.. pipe dreams eh?!? Think that made sense?!? x

I think the photies are clear too.  Didn't bore you with all 49 of them.  She looks so cute.  Just like Liam on one of them (2 people have said that now).

Your bump looks lovely Sal - I have a hard round one. All up front I am, with love handles now.

I have 6 weeks left til half term too.

Katie, when are you due again honey? I'm not due till 17th so have 13 & 1/2 weeks left. Also is your half term earlier than ours because we have 6 wks left till half term (hope yours is earlier & i'm not the bearer of bad news!!!!) HT usually the last week in October (we break up 24th Oct). Are you going to show me your bump then?!! I think mine is quite flat looking as baby is lying across or diagonal. I want a proper round bump lol!!!

    Hey ladies I am here.

I have successfully uploaded piccies all by myself - as you can see on my profile picture.  Hope you like them.

Rocker chairs - I recommend that they have the rocker bit at bottom and not that silly bit of flimsy metal that the bouncer chairs have.  We had the cream one from Babies'r'us last time and it was fantastic (hoping it is in ok condition when we get it down from attic, otherwise will get one similar).

LOL - we had a fisher price activity mat for Liam and the tunes got really annoying but he absolutely loved it.  Probably overstimulated him too.

You poor thing Sal - I would be traumatised too the poor lickle hedgehog.

Men just don't seem to have enough brain cells to think about what total sh*its they are being and how insensitive they are.  Should have made him grovel a bit more Katie?

Oh MAT B1 form - I rang the midwife coz haven't had an app since 17 weeks and my next one is a week on tuesday for 28 week bloods.  I just called in to get it from her.  Sent my letter off to county with dates for leave last weekend and had letter back on thurs confirming.

Gonna go in bath now I think - will catch you in a bit.

    Nici 27 weeks

I was thinking the same. I want one that vibrates but that's about it, don't want too much going on that it keeps baby awake lol!!

Can't decide yet!! There are so many nice ones!! I had 3 last tome ans she hated all of them so they were a complete waste of money lol! I had a good mat with dangly things from Mamas and Papas which she's lie on quite happily! Am gonna get one of the many grandparents to get one for christmas once I've dtermined what sort of baby dd2 will be! I do like the fisher price ones but they overstimulated Ellie and she would just cry! That's not much help is is it really
