Done my planning too - am really glad I did loads of resource making during the summer: Will keep me going for ages!! Not surprised that upset you Sal - think once you're pregnant and having/have a baby, those sorts of things really get to you. Quite normal
I have finally forgiven dh today - it was his bday yesterday and he went out on Friday night (fine) getting back at 630am yesterday morning!! Woke me up, so I got up to go in spare room cos he STANK, which woke Ellie up!! Was fuming for most of yesterday - I hate it when he goes out - have no idea why he can't drink like a normal person!! He was in the army for 7 years so got into bad habits then I think!! I find it really annoying anyway that he can go out and have a drink for his bday, but when it was my bday last week - can I go out and have a drink? No!! Anyway - rant over!! 
Was too cross to write that yesterday lol!! Come on Nici - where are your piccies?! Was also thinking earlier that I might not go to 39 weeks... 38 would probably be better!! That one week could make a lot of difference!! Is anyone organised to do either of ur maternity leaves? Last time, no-one specific did mine - my classes were all wild by the time I got back!! Morning ladies. I have just finished my planning & have the reast of the day to myself yippee! Although my evening was less stress free. I let my dog out into the garden to go the toilet about 12:30am this morning (after watching brokeback mountain - how dull that was!) and she got spooked by a hedgehog and shook it in her mouth (she has never been remotely bothered by them or anything else before, she is a right wuss) I thought it was dead after checking with a torch & was so traumatised. My cat kills things all the time & it doesn't bother me, so not sure why it affected me so badly. OH got in about 3am from a boys night out & found that it was still alive but in a bad way so had to finish the job so it didn't suffer anymore (sorry if tmi). I still feel really shook up about it today. Am I over-reacting? Hope you are both well & i'm still very excited to see your pics Nici lv Sal xxxx13/9/08 20:56
Congratulations Nici! You kept us waiting long enough lol!!! So pleased for you & your pink bump. I can't wait to see the photos. Aaaah 2 girls, I wonder if mine will make 3! I'm convinced my yellow bump is a boy so looks like i'll be providing the blue contingent!! Sophie is a lovely name Katie. Do you have any names Nici? I am at a total loss on names, me & OH can't agree on anything!13/9/08 20:42
lol Ellie still said this morning, when we were looking in a catalogue, pointing at the baby boy : "I wanted one of those didn't I mummy?" so I said "but we're going to love Sophie aren't we?" "Yes. But I wanted one of those first!" - bless Lets hope she keeps that to herself in future years eh?!? x13/9/08 20:38
Think Liam has forgotten already coz thought he was gonna blurt it out to my mum n dad (who don't want to know) but he didn't - kept saying 'the baby'.
So happy I can't stop grinning - wasn't bothered what I had but got one of each now.

Hey girlies I am back and ........................ we are tickled pink!
Yippeeeeee!
When we eventually arrived at the centre (horrendous traffic and a bugg*r to find) they started scanning in 2D but bubs was facing my spine so couldn't get any images. So sonographer told me to go n get a can of coke and a bar of chocolate and have a good walk. Hey presto it worked! It was such an amazing experience and when I was told it was a girl I just burst out crying - it was so emotional. She smiled a lot, wriggled about, stuck her tongue out and even stuck two fingers up which was quite funny. OOOOooo it was all so lovely. Got to choose 4 colour photies and we got whole scan (thought only getting 5 min of snips) on DVD and the CD ROM with 49 images on it. I so can't wait to go to the shops tomorrow.
I will try and work out how to load my new camera software onto here and upload some piccies for you to see.

Evening ladies!. Katie, hope funeral wasn't too gut wrenching for you chick. I am a yellow bump till the end as I want a surprise after all the hard work I am going to have to put in lol!! Nici, good luck with your 4d scan tomorrow, it will be so cool to see your bubs again. Did either of you see the programme on bb3 9-10pm tonight? If not try & catch it on iplayer, think it was called dawn gets a baby. It was both scary & funny although as you have both been through childbirth before I guess you know what's going to happen during & afterwards (Yikes!) I'm kind of scared about having to get this thing out & what will be left of me afterwards!!! Anyhoo, roll on the lie-in tomorrow (if 9am counts as i'll be awake by then!!)love sal xxxx12/9/08 21:49
Ooooh have fun at the scan Nici - hope you find out what you're having!! Funeral was a bit surreal - there must have been about 200 people there, and about 150 of those must have been kids from the past five years or so. So many of the boys cried - it was heartbreaking.

I am so excited we have our 4D scan tomorrow in Liverpool @ 12pm and I just can't wait. The excitement is just bubbling away in there. I can't wait to see what 'bubs' looks like. He he I am like a little giggly girl.
I am treating myself to a 1/4 glass of Shiraz wine and it tastes soooooo nice.

Oh Katie that's awful. I have never taught anyone who I know has died so young it must be heart wrenching. When I was training a girl died at the school I was at & that was hard enough and I didn't even know her! Hope all goes ok and that kids are able to get through it.
Yes Nici I got the Northgate between 8:30 and 10pm as it's adults only & really quiet. Hopefully I will keep it up through the cold & dark nights to come!

I am really suffering tonight - kids were a complete pain in the ar*e today and I had to get a bit irrate with some of them and I think I have pulled muscles at the sides of my bump. Little sh*ts! Feel awful so gonna go in bath when Liam finished. Just been to pick DH up from Chester station so feel whacked.
Hope all goes well tom at Katie - funerals not easy at the best of times, but when it is somebody so young.

Evening!! Yup I'm on facebook (Katie Eyres - at the moment it's a picture of a sweetie cake lol!!) - am addicted to the bloody thing!! I can't wait for the end of tomorrow either - got to go to a funeral of a lad who left last year, and who was part of my first alternative curriculum group. It's not going to be pleasant - lots of the kids are going old and current. Plus it's all the kids I work mostly with and it's going to be horrible seeing them all so upset. lol I have managed to organise for my BTEC class to be out on a Thursday... when I have to teach them haha!! So only 2 lessons for me tomorrow!! I don't think I could go back to normal teaching timetable - cos I am on same level as Heads of Year I get more frees thank god!! I will do 4 weeks after half term so not too bad!! Have got back ache today though.10/9/08 19:08
PPA is for planning so only get 2 hr to plan for the whole of the next week.
I work in an open plan area so when I need loo I just tell Clare and she keeps eye on little ones.
