Nici, glad you had a fab last day & that FH's accreditation went better this time, fingers crossed for the result
Glad you will now be able to rest & spend more time with Liam before lo arrives. I bet he looks so cute in his uniform
Sophie & Amelie are both lovely names & very French so I approve greatly lol! Kids keep asking if i'll give bubs a French or Spanish name but at the mo any name we could vaguely agree on would be nice
Well car went in for service today & I am now £350 lighter with still more work needed in the new year, great
(could get it done sooner but need car to get to hospital as can't get in & out of OH's sporty number at the mo lol!!) I went into Chester whilst it was being done & moved like a snail as pressure down below is quite uncomfortable, I think the rest of shopping for OH's bday & xmas will have to be done online. I have never been this organised before & don't usually start xmas shopping until school term ends lol so it feels a bit strange!! We have been to watch new bond film at the cinema this evening & it was quite good. Just nice to get out for a change but will be catching up on xfactor in the morning! Hope you are having fab evenings lv Sal xxx15/11/08 09:29
Hi ladies. YIPPEE - I have finished at last. What a lovely feeling eh Katie. Will soon be you Sal. I don't think it is really going to kick in til Monday and I don't have to get ready for work. However, Liam starts nursery on Monday so that will keep me occupied.
Had such a lovely day yesterday - my friend had decorated my area with all pink & blue balloons, banners & confetti. The kids innundated me with gifts and they are all so lovely. I have a major stock of chocolate too to keep me going til I deliver. Few of the staff made me lovely relaxation kits for over the next few weeks. Very sweet. Whole school gathered together after lunch looking very bright in yellow (Children in Need non-uniform) to present me with a lovely 'Box of Blooms' and a big bear for Bubs. We ate so many cakes and had Bucks Fizz at lunch time too (I did feel a bit tipsy - lol). I think everything is left ok - they were trying to get me out but I am not the type of person to leave disorganisation for someone else. I felt happy with everything though in the end. God can't believe I wont be going back til September 09.
Liam had a lovely farewell from his nursery - the staff got very emotional that he was leaving. The boss bought me a lovely orchid (my favourite flower) and and card with a lovely message inside. Good job I had waterproof mascara on.
DH had the same moderator as last time but a different actress. She said he included everything he didn't last time. He woke up this morning saying f**k I forgot to put one thing in but is not sure whether it should have been in. Will have to wait til monday to find out. Will let you know how it goes.
Katie - your little princess must have listening to the turning vibes we have all been sending her. I am so glad she is back the right way around now. Here's to a natural delivery. God I thought I was going into labour last night - I was having such bad tummy pains and tightenings at the top moving down and back ache. DH got me banana & some warm milk and I think it turned out to be hunger pains LOL - then I was up at 3.30am reading Womans Own and eating a bowl of Shreddies. I am just so not sleeping.
I love both of your names - Sal it is difficult coz DH & I couldn't agree last time. But our little girl is gonna be called Amelie Jane (well that's it up to now, Jane is my middle name as Liam has James as a middle name. We both love Amelie). I wanted Amelie Mae. If it turns out to be boy - no ideas. I totally agree with you Sal about associating diff names with kids in school so makes it quite limiting.
Sorry to drivel on - off to get Liam's school uniform now. See you later.

Oooh hope dh's accreditation goes ok Nici - fingers well and truly crossed
Our dd will be Sophie Sheila Frances - both middle names after our grandparents. I like Mabel - Mae is lovely too! I also like both of ur boys names - I liked Noel but wasn't allowed that even if it was a boy lol xxx14/11/08 18:53
Woo Hoo well done baby Eyres. So pleased she has turned & engaged to boot! Nice that you got to see her again on the scan too, you must be able to see everything at this stage lol! Glad you had a good last day, it will be nice on Monday morning when you don't have to go into work yay
Well my car is in for it's service tomorrow at 8:30am so no lie in for me, then off to town to get some bits n bobs for OH as it's his bday on 1st Dec & hoping to get some xmas pressies as well as not sure I will have the energy closer to the time. I guess I can always shop online, it's so much easier anyway
Have you chosen names for your babas yet ladies? Is it easier when you know the sex? I am at a loss, I love Mabel for a girl but OH hates it & for a boy I liked Luca & Noah but have been well & truly vetoed on them lol! I am managing to hang on to Mabel but think I'm having a boy so it's probably not going to be much use lol! It's so hard as a teacher as most names you think of remind you of a kid you have taught good or bad lol!
Waiting on news of your last day Nici & DH's accreditation. Hope all went well lv Sal xxxxxx14/11/08 17:33
Lol Sal to all my questions - can't take the job out of the pregnant woman!! Keeps me alive

Oh and Katie, I think you may have won the prize for the most questions asked in a single post in response to the lady whose son is having a few probs at school, lol! All bases well & truly covered! Are you sure you're ready for maternity leave!?! Maybe you could start a consultancy! Love ya xx13/11/08 21:26
Oh Nici, wine I so want some but don't think I could stop after 1 glass lol! I bet work have something really fab planned with banners & stuff for you tomorrow & that's why they wanted you out of the way so they could set it all up
Hope you have a fab last day, enjoy all your suprises
Katie, hope you have a fab last day too with lots of chill out time with kids. Do you have any parties planned with your classes?
Well I taught the childbirth group today & they seemed to enjoy it & enjoyed asking lots of questions! Think I may change subjects lol! Glad it's Friday tomorrow, woo hoo the weekend is nearly here

Evening ladies. Hope you are all well.
I am totally shattered. Had a horrendous day at work the kids seem to be driving us all crazy. Roll on 3pm tomorrow. 1 day to go.
I was ushered out at 3.50pm - why I don't know. All the girls were acting very suspiciously. So I got to Liam really early. Popped to Tesco for a few bits, then made crispy cakes for him to take into nursery. Made a thank you card & he also wanted to finish his junk material robot he started to make in nursery. Had tea, bath and stories. Now feel completely exhausted.
DH has gone on his accreditation - so fingers crossed tomorrow will go a lot better than last time.
I am having a sneaky small glass of red wine and mmmmmmm it tastes so good.

That's a lovely present Katie - how thoughtful of them all. I am sure you will get some presents too Sal.
I am snuggled up in my pj's (which DH keeps laughing at) and dressing gown and about to catch up with Holby City from last night. I am starving again (only had my tea 2 hr ago) - all I seem to think about is food (for some strange reason this week I lost 4lbs - how I don't know why). I think I may have a bowl of Ready Brek. At least there are some vitamins in that.
I think Bubs has hiccups - she seems to get them a lot.
My back is hurting - well its down my left side & my pubic bone seems to be playing up. I so want my body back now.

Catch you all tomorrow.

PS - Isn't it exciting that all the babies are starting arrive. Could be one of us soon.

12/11/08 19:51
lol Sal - I've managed to steer clear of the child D groups - although that hasn't stopped the kids from asking MANY questions... which to most of the boys disgust I answer truthfully and in detail lol
My birth plan from last time is still used in their lessons!! My Y11 BTEC group gave me a present yesterday - one of thegirls and her mum had bought a wicker type basket thing, and then everyone had bought something for me and/or the baby, and wrapped it up in cellophane - very cute!! x12/11/08 19:19
Thanks for your answers ladies xx
Nici it is so sweet that you are getting such lovely pressies. Hope you enjoy your last 2 days. Not sure the parents in secondary are as generous or am I wrong Katie !?! I guess they are more hands on in the early years. Well I have just spent about an hour looking for stuff on pregnancy to do with the childbirth group tomorrow. Not sure how I let myself get roped into it but they use my room once a fortnight & when they saw I was pregnant thought I had come in just for them lol! They now want to ask me lots of questions yikes! So thought I'd best go in prepared with some stuff to distract them from asking anything too probing
Hope you have fab, restful evenings love Sal xxxxx12/11/08 19:03
Hi ladies - sorry I haven't been on but just been catching up with your posts.
I am glad you are finishing a bit earlier too Sal - I am so struggling this week. It is so hard doing the simplest of things.
I didn't go on any forums when I was pregnant with Liam, but this time I have been addicted to it and I am glad I have made some good friends in you gals. We must stay in touch and arrange to meet up regularly whilst we are off.
Had such a busy day yesterday - work, then DH & I went to look around the school for Liam (he starts the nursery next monday 2 1/2 hrs each day), had tea, went to my flower arranging and then had to call to see my friend who I worked with who was 30 yesterday. I got in just before 10pm. I am so suffering today. My back just seems to keep seizing.
All my little darlings in school have been bringing me presents. One little girl today brought in a big gift bag and in it was:- Next pink bibs, Next blue bibs, Next pink socks, Next blue socks, Crayola pack for Liam, Mini bottle of Champagne & Thorntons for me n' DH. Her Mum said you wont tell us what colour you need so Next said you can change to whatever colour you need. How sweet I was nearly crying. Another little boy got me some Mothercare bibs, rattle & Mamas & Papas cellular cot blanket. Another little boy got his Grandma to knit a cute little cardi in cream, but it's like that fluffy wool that looks like a sheep. Everybody is so kind. My pregnancy hormones are making me tearful.

Well Katie 2 more days to go - YIPPEE & double YIPPEE YIPPEE!

I can't wait to wrap all my Xmas stuff next week - I am so excited. Oh and write my cards.
Sorry to prattle on.
Catch you later, Nici 35+3
12/11/08 18:20

xxx12/11/08 18:05
Well spoke to HT and she ok'd me leaving on 5th Dec yay! So now have another question! When you go on maternity leave do you have to fill in any other forms, let anyone know about anything to get SMP etc or do work sort all that out? Only 2 days for you both you must be so excited
Speak to you again later lv Sal xx11/11/08 21:27
I know Katie, I was optimistic to think that it would be a breeze to teach full time at 8mths pregnant lol!!
I just had a thought, were you both bounty gals with your first pgs? If so have you kept in touch with anyone from then? I'd like to think that we will stay in touch but know how babies take over your life lol! I am gonna need you two lol, i'm a newbie & have no idea what i'm doing!!! I'm so glad my sis works full time or i'm sure she'd move in gulp
Right i'm off to chill as can't seem to stop washing clothes! Take care lv Sal xx11/11/08 20:22
Lol Sal - everyone is trying to get me to do their christmas shopping next week - would do if I could actually move faster than a snail!! So am going to get my hair one and some waxing possibly!! Hmmmm sit around and do not much... erm... ooohh pack my hospital bag lol!! Learn how to use the pram thingy!! I'm just waiting to see the mw on Friday cos that sort of dictates what happens next week in terms of hospital apointments etc!! Am glad ur thinking about going a bit earlier Sal - I think it's easy saying at the start that you'll just keep going, but the reality is soooooooo different!! Hope ur enjoying the week Nici - only 3 days to go
x11/11/08 20:09
Hello girlies, well I have just sat down & planned out what I need to do with classes & in general up until Friday 5th Dec, so I am going to see HT tomorrow to see if I can finish on the Fri or at the latest the following Tues (9th), fingers crossed she agrees lol! They are interviewing on 19th so can check with candidates if they can start early
Well I hope you are both having fab last weeks. What have you got planned for the first week of maternity apart from collapsing lol!?!
You could always hot foot it to Chester to give me a hand if you're stuck for ideas, but somehow I doubt you will be tee hee!!! Take care lv Sal 35 weeks tomorrow!
