Hi ladies

I have a MW appointment today at 11.00. I have to leave the house a half an hour before as it takes me so long to get there now

Last night we had a curry, I had a bath and we even had sex lol. The bump being in the way is so funny. Needless to say it didn't trigger anything but it helped the evening pass

Freya has settled into the room with her sisters really well, she seems to be sleeping better too. I think my snoring was waking her up

We have done all the major Xmas presents, just need to get a few little stocking fillers and wrap it all.
We made sure we had a proper removal company organised for our house move, we paid a deposit so we could get the packing materials now. Our hallway is filling up with our packed boxes. We are hoping to get a date next week for the move.
I hope I have my lo before Clare (sorry Clare)

It won't be long now for all of us

Take care ladies and bumps.
Paula, 18 days until due day!!!

Morning all,
Sorry I haven't been around much - I've started maternity leave and seem busier than ever!! I had a wonderful baby shower on Monday night and me and the bump have been completely spoilt!! a beautiful nappy bag, baby record book, clothes, books, toiletries, nappies etc, etc..... I spent ages yesterday in the nursery sorting things out, and plenty more washing to do now!
As you can see I am wide awake quite early - I seem to be waking up and not getting back to sleep every morning at about 4.30 - maybe it's baby getting me used to the disturbed nights??!! I have been lying in bed this morning wondering which one of us will pop first - I think Clare - especially if your sweeep does the trick - good luck!!
Paula - I can't believe how calm you sound about the house move - you are doing a fab job - and managing to get Freya into her own room too - well done!! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate at the moment - keep calm and keep smiling

I know what you mean about needing a crane to get up!! I don't feel particularly huge, but my back is so sore at times. Right in my cocyx (sp?) - it feels as if baby's head is sitting right on my tail bone. My ankles are bloody huge as well, but other then that I can't complain, and still coping well at the moment. I could use another couple of weeks before bubs arrived to get everything sorted and finish my christmas shopping!!
Love to you all - going to try to keep us bumped a lot now that I have a bit more time, and I want to know ASAP if there are any birth stories
yikes - so close!!!

We are really lazy in the bump buddy thread steaks

It is getting very close!!! I can't wait for this baby to come, I feel ready now

I've had enough of the heartburn and the constant need to pee all the time.
I hope your next sweep works better Clare

19 days for me too!!!
I hope the rest of you are ok?
Take care ladies and bumps.
Paula.

Eeep page 13!!
Morning ladies how are we all today?
Can't believe we are all so nearly there, wonder who is gonna pop first

I am gonna spend the afternoon making some more goodies for the freezer for when I get home from hospital and cant be bothered with cooking etc.
Got another sweep tomorrow, the one on Monday appears to have done very little, although I am losing what seems to be tons of my mucus plug (no blood in the jelly yet).

love Clare + blue bump 19 days to go! xx

Hi ladies

Dp found a really good washing machine so the kids had clean school uniforms today, I also had the nappy bucket full of smelly nappies too

I really want this baby to come now, I'm feeling so fed up with being huge. I hate having to get up to pee as I feel like I need a crane to help me out of bed

We have moved Freya in with her sisters, it felt horrible. I missed not having her in our room, I know she needs to get used to not being in with us. She was fine, everyone were in talking to her this morning

Ben has been really wheezy again, I hope we don't have to take him to the hospital again

I've packed all of my ornaments, we have packed about half of our books. Everything has been taken out of the loft now too. We need to take lots of stuff to the dump. I don't want to take anything we don't want/need when we move.
On saturday we went to the new house to measure the windows and to check a few things out. Our eldest 2 saw the house for the first time and really liked it

I will be go for my home birth from tomorrow

My down moods don't last long

Awww morning ladies, well afternoon.
I have been nesting crazy this morning, the bedroom has been completely spring cleaned so I can get the crib up and in there this afternoon. OH thinks I have gone insane, maybe its cos I am 37 weeks on Tuesday hehe, or that I should be getting my date tomorrow following my scan.
I know what you mean about being fed up, I am at that stage now too, really fed up, and when my friend had her little man on Friday at 27 weeks, it makes me want my little man here like now!!!
Take care ladies, spend the rest of the day relaxing if you can!

I had a major hormonal outburst, our washing machine died this morning and as usual dp thinks it's my fault and had a go at me and I ended up crying. He must've felt bad as he is now out trying to get a new one. No excuse tho.
It was my birthday yesterday, I really feel my age atm

I'm now at the point where I've had enough of being pregnant

Sorry it's a moany one from me.
Take care ladies and bumps.

Hi girlies,
Just a quick one form me too - just checking in on you all

We were at a wedding all day yesterday, and I did my fiar share fo dancing, and my feet look like I'm about 85 - they are so swollen!! I'm sitting with them up now and my lovely OH had given me a fab foot rub (lubky me!)
I should have worn a sign at the wedding yesterday that said '....3 weeks.....no.....' because so many people asked me 'how ong have you got to go?' and 'do you know if it's a boy or a girl?'.... I wish I had pound for every time I'd been asked!!
I've been having strong feelings this week that LO is a girl, since everyone I know is having boys at the moment.
Anywya, got my feet up, having a curry for tea, and X factor is on soon so I am going to love you and leave you

Enjoy your weekends x x x

Hi ladies

Kerry, I'm glad you have seen the MW and she is being supportive. I'm glad you've seen Fiona, the first time was going to be the worst, now she knows that you are there for her

We got in touch with our solicitor to find out what's happening with regards to finding out moving dates etc, only to be told they were still waiting on the sellers solicitors to sort the contract. Dp said that we were hoping to be in before Xmas and the solicitor said that she will focus on getting us in 2 weeks before Xmas

Last night we sorted through loads of paperwork, our shredder was getting a lot of use

I'm now getting fed up with being pregnant, I'm tired all the time, my hips and pubic bone hurt when I walk now.
I need to get to next tuesday to be ok for my home birth

Anna I hope the wedding isn't too tiring for you and you don't need to go to the maternity unit

Lou I hope you are enjoying being a lady of leisure

Clare I hope you are ok

Take care ladies and bumps.

Hiya,
Glad your mw has been so supportive Kerry and it's good to hear you are feeling a bit better. It's not strange at all to say that you feel better now you have seen Fiona.... it is always fear of the unknown that makes you worry.
I have spent the evening trying to find a present for my OH for when the baby is born, but I can't think of anything

Last day of work for me tomorrow - yay!!! We are at a wedding on Friday - OH is best man. It is literally in the middle of nowhere, so I thought I had better find out where the nearest maternity unit is....45 minute drive away!! Let's hope I don't need it

Love to you all x x

Hi ladies
I have been and seen the MW today, I told her all about Fiona and the issues I was having because of it and she was sooooooo lovely, she told me that she will see me every week now instead of every 2wks, and that if I needed to come up the the hospital at any point then to phone and explain and to go straight up, even if it meant going up 2/3 times a day

I felt alot better when I left there. She measured me and I am now measuring at 41wks!!!!!!
She wasnt 100% that he was head down either, so if she cant tell for defo next week I will have to have another scan.I hope that you are all ok
Take care Kerry 36+5

10/11/08 16:42
Deeerrrr have put here instead of her a couple of times!!!!

10/11/08 16:40
Well went to the school exspecting to hear nothing but bad things about Callum, as this was the way the conversation went when the school rang to arrange the meeting. Only to be told that since the middle of last week he has pulled his socks up and has improved nearly 100%. I have never been so proud of him, his year head teacher was "like oh I though we were going to have all negative things to say but as it is I am really proud!!" (Good on you my son).
I then went into town and saw Fiona, I nearly carried on driving but thought no I just couldnt do it. When she saw me I saw here eyes roll as if to say oh no, but I said to here Im sorry I just couldnt drive passed and not speak. We had a chat and she seems to be coping as well as can be exspected, she is very cross with the hospital as apparently her notes dont seem to make much sence!! She is determind to get answers from them just so that someone else doesnt have to go throught his again. She also said that her placenta was small and that she had no waters!!!! Why didnt they pick up on this when she saw them the previous week??!!!
Does it sound funny if I say I feel a bit better in a way now I have spoken and seen her??
Sorry this has turned out to be a long one!!

Hello!!
just chilling out on the sofa trying to enjoy a cup of raspberry leaf tea
tummy is feeling very tight and I keep getting sharp pains down below, feeling generally quite uncomfortable, so I think that baby's head must be engaged.
Looking forward to a quiet night in curled up on the sofa and hoping to persuade OH to cook me a nice tea.
speak soon
