lmao you are going to get a major random message now just to confuse you further girlie

im sure your cat is fine, cats sometimes do decide to stay away longer then normal, i remember my cat as a kid disappearing for 3days then coming in like nothing happened.

you have to hold a snake wilko they are so cute, it was a royal python the kids held, it wasnt very big, only about 3foot, kind of looked like a necklace on shan haha

    Snakes are lovely.

My cat is just coming up to about 2 years old.  She never goes off though - if she were a he I'd maybe not worry so much, but girl cats don't usually go off

Supermom, by the time you reply I'll have forgotten what I said haha!!!!!!

Wohooooo, we've got a friend to play with!!!

Glad you had a lovely holiday, sounds interesting - I've never held a snake before but I would probably give it a go just to say that I had!

How old is your cat Kathryn?  I'm sure she'll come home when she's hungry and finished terrorising the local wildlife!

I made £10 today doing eyebrows - this time next year I'm going to be a millionaire!

yay!  hello!!!!  We couldn't remember when you came back.  We knew when you were going but didn't know how long you were going for!  Sounds like you had a brilliant time.  Am I right in assuming you didn't hold the snake?  I love snakes!  Used to have one but it disappeared.  I'm not very good with pets, it's a wonder I've managed to keep my kids as long as I have without mislaying them somewhere...... even our cat has disappeared now.    I don't think I have really spoken to Barb since you asked me to give her your number.  She hasn't been around much to be honest so I don't think she's had it yet.

    Speak later ladies

    empty.....empty.......empty.......

Wow, it's still echoing, that's well good Wilko hehe!!!!

It's madness how antenatal care differs so much from place to place isn't it?  But given that we're not that many miles apart you wouldn't think it could be so different for us!  Go figure.

I'm really tired this morning.  DH has today and tomorrow off and he's stayed in bed and I've had to get up to get Alex up for school!  I know he has to get up early every day but I haven't been sleeping and I wake up when his alarm goes off and don't really sleep again afterwards anyway so I'd better get a lie in tomorrow or else!  So there! hehe!  We have to get up early on Saturday because we're off to Norfolk to my best friends wedding.  He's driving up after work on Friday night to pick us up, staying over and then driving us back on Saturday before he gets married - oh my god I am praying nothing goes wrong on the journey back!  I was meant to be driving down tomorrow but cos of the blasted SPD I can't drive that far and he desperately wants me there so when I phoned and said I couldn't go, this is what he decided to do.  Bless him.  So, apologies in advance Wilko but it will be quiet on Saturday and most of Sunday unless anyone else comes back!  LOL!

    It sounds suspiciously empty....empty......empty........empty

(that was an echo - was it good?)

she must have been telling me porkies to make me feel better - she's still a nasty lady!

I'm sure last time with ds I didn't start being seen every 2 weeks til I was 36 weeks or something which I found a bit pointless - but who am I to argue with the NHS!

LOL I'm fine thanks!   Aww, maybe she told you she wouldn't take any more so that you weren't worried about it?  Terrible that you had to come home and eat chocolate though, that must have been a really awful experience for you!    hehe!  I take it that was your 28 week check up?  When are you being seen next?  I thought that after 28 weeks you were seen every two weeks but I'm not being seen until 32 weeks which will have been four weeks.  I know some of the books say it's every two weeks but I guess it's different depending on where you live?  So, other than being butchered again yesterday and being forced to eat chocolate, how are you?

    Anyone else out there?

    Nobody likes us anymore

Why does the midwife have to keep stabbing me?  I'm sure when I went for my first bloods she said that she had taken extra to save me having some done later.

So I go yesterday thinking that I would be alright, no blood needed to be given and she bloody did it.  Nasty lady!!  So I had a funny turn as usual and had to come home and eat chocolate...............it's a hard life!!

    So how is everyone else..........................Kathryn.........................!!!

Yay, for a minute I thought I was the only one left!  Where is everyone?   I know Charlotte still has pc problems, I've spoken to Barb on msn and Supermom is on hols still I assume.  Which leaves Kimmi, haven't seen Kimmi even online for a while, hope you're ok hun!  Did I miss anyone?

So, how is everyone anyway?  Hope things are going well for you all, we don't have long left ladies - remember way back when we were only about as many weeks along as we now have left?  Where on earth did the time go?

My friend is due tomorrow and she's hopefully coming round today.  I keep expecting the phone to go to say she's had the baby.  I can't wait!  I'm trying really hard not to send the 'are you still here' and 'hasn't she arrived yet' texts because I know how frustrating that gets.

Anyhoo, hope to hear from you all soon ladies! xxxxxx

Aww, here's hoping that it really is a girl then....   I have this fear that although we saw the bits with our very own eyes, that when I eventually give birth they'll tell me it's a girl! haha!!!!  Hopefully my friend is going to come and visit me tomorrow after taking her cat to the vet.  This is a girl that I worked with that started her maternity leave a few weeks ago and we were kinda best mates at work - she also lives just a few minutes away from me so hopefully we'll at least be able to see a bit of each other - she's due a week on Wednesday so I'm looking forward to munching her little one when she arrives (she's also having a girl - or at least it better be cos everyone got her pink stuff haha!).  Hope you enjoyed your relaxing weekend Kimmi - what's everyone else been up to?  We put the cot up and it looks lovely, but it's not where we thought it might be, we've had to change some of the furniture around, but actually it looks better how it is now - but we could have had a standard sized cot had we known!  Never mind.

Hey all, I got the hardest part over and done with now. Sorted all the baby stuff out and any boys clothes we had I have now got rid of out of the house as I want to try now and get used to the fact that I am having a beautiful little baby girl. I have given the new stuff to someone I know and the other stuff I was given I have donated to the hospital.

Now that, that is over and done with I can concentrate on buying new stuff for little Ella-Louise. Just getting to the uncomfortable stage now where it's taking me twice as long to get up and do things etc... Ella is much more active at the moment and it's really nice to feel her moving about so much. Thanks for the comment Kathryn she is beautiful and I can't wait to meet her properly. I'm going to see a friend who's got a little lad only a few months old tomorrow take her some of the boys clothes we had and just have a nice girly chat. Apart from that just a relaxing weekend with the boyfriend. Am glad your feeling happier now Kathryn and yeah plenty of rest now, while you can lol. Take care all and chat soon x

Goodness me ladies we've dropped to page 7!!!!!!  Aww Kimmi, I still can't get over how cute your little girl looks, isn't it great how good the scan pictures are these days?!

Well, you may have seen my post on the main forum about my last day.  I'm really glad it's over.  I'm very sad about not going back because I worked with such a lovely bunch of people.  I hated the firm itself but I was so lucky to work with such great people.  And honestly, the stuff I've had from them is fab.  I think I might start cheering up a bit more now as I'm hoping that being able to rest more and not worry about travelling to and from work will mean I'll get less pain and now I've got the worst bit over (saying goodbye) I know that I won't have to keep stressing about that.

So, how is everyone else anyway?  Glad it's the weekend?  Anyone doing anything nice this weekend?

Aw, that's fab news Kimmi!  Glad all went well, let us know when you have pictures up for us to take a peek at.

Got your message and replied Wilko - Facebook is as flakey as Bounty most of the time!  I really hope I sleep tonight because I'm exhausted, still, it was nice to find at least one other Bounty mum on Facebook at such a ridiculous time so I did at least have someone to talk to. LOL!

Hey everyone scan went well, but we had a lovely suprise as we have ourselves a beautiful baby girl!  Really shocked as was set on the idea it was a boy, but the guy said no chance it a boy clear as day that its a girl. Boyfriend is fine and i think secretly is quite happy he'll have himself a lil daddy's girl. Hope everyone's ok and chat soon. Kim x
