Morning all. Isn't it great when you go to bed and wake up at 4am every morning! So I decided rather than lie there in agony today I might as well get up. Hey ho!
Kimmi, I only missed you by a bit! Hehe! All the very best for the scan today - hope you manage to find out what the sex is as I know you really want to! Supermom, I was on MSN last night, I texted you to ask if you were online and to see how you were generally but it doesn't seem to have been delivered.
I did chat to Barb last night, and I had a text conversation with Charlotte a couple of days ago.
Oh, and hey, leave my age out of this!
Louise, we're not particularly local but at the same time we're not a million miles away from each other. We were trying to arrange to meet up sometime but I'm not sure whether that's going to happen or not before we actually have these babies now. But there's no reason why you shouldn't be part of our bump buddy thread either way, we're a nice enough bunch - well, apart from Supermom
Oh, do you live anywhere near Broadway? My son went camping there a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it, I think that's somewhere down by Evesham isn't it? It's only about an hour away from me in Wolverhampton if so. Oh, and I forgot to tell you all yesterday - I'm leaving work on Friday
I've brought my maternity leave forward because I'm struggling so much now with this SPD - was very emotional yesterday when it was confirmed I could go and I'm dreading Friday cos I'll be blarting all day. Still, it's for the best. Just horrible cos I know I'm not going back

SCAN DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know i shouldn't be stressing but I am already and we only just picked team, we might not even have a game if we can't get enough people to play. Don't worry i forget what people say all the time Kathryn. Hi to the new ladies I used to be in Rugby a lot due to hockey committments. i am so excited I can't sleep and the bf is too he texted me to say he even ironed his clothes for tomorrow. He never irons!! I have got a few pics up on my profile already 12 and 20 week scans but this one will be going straight on tomorrow when I get home. Take care all and will be posting pic and verdict on boy or girl tomorrow. Night x

Yes evesham is close to Worcester and cheltenham.
I guess there is no one local then....
9/9/08 22:41
LOL that's shocking, I can't believe you'd say such a thing about me in front of new ladies!
hehe!!!!!Hello to the new ladies, I'm really sorry but it's taken me so long to type this reply due to several other things going on that I've forgotten what you both said
(blame preggy brain!) anyway, Evesham is down towards Worcester way isn't it? I think one of you said Evesham...... and a lovely part of the country it is too!
Anyway, might as well end my post there because I can't remember what anyone said.

Hey - no stressing it's bad for you!
Bet you're more excited about tomorrow though! If you get a normal picture then make sure you post it up so we can all take a peek - did we tell you we're a nosy bunch on this thread? hehe!!!! Come on everyone, stop hiding and come and say hello cos I'm getting worried about you all now. Either that or I must smell and you just don't wanna say.........

Hello you! Did you have a great time? You could have brought some nice weather back with you!
Don't think anything has happened other than what's been posted while you've been away. I sent my email off to our Managing Partner this morning and due to the severe pain I was in at the time (was also in tears hence I didn't ring him.....) I said that I'd rather go this Friday than next but that I will try and stay until next Friday if it's better for the firm. Still haven't had any acknowledgement back from him but then last time I sent him an email like this (about the redundancy thing) I mailed him on the Monday and he replied on the Wednesday I think. Although he's our Managing Partner he has to speak to the woman that really runs the firm! And she doesn't work on Monday's! So, I could find out on Wednesday that I am ok to leave here on Friday - bit stupid really but hey ho! Glad you're back anyway. And I hope everyone else is ok this week.

Hi de hi,
I'm back, wish I wasn't though.................
Anything interesting been happening? How is everyone?
7/9/08 09:52
Thanks Kimmi :-) And that's great about your friend at hockey, as you say, you won't be so lonely on the sidelines now and I guess that will make it loads easier for you.
Well, nothing much going on in my life at the moment other than what I've already told you. I'm just wondering how everyone else is though because with the exception of Kimmi and Supermom, I haven't seen or heard from anyone else either on here or msn in weeks and I'm worried about you all. Hope you're all ok ladies!
Speak to you all soon.

Hiya, I can understand the mixed feeling you have. I worked voluntarily in a school for 7 years (through a levels, uni and 1 year after). When I went in to tell them I was pregnant, I realised I wouldn't be going back there to work with the kids again. Some of those staff members have seen me grow up from 16 -24. Its a really sad thought that I won't go back to work there, but I am happy at the reason I am leaving. I am really excited about the scan now and have just found out tonight that, another girl I played hockey with is pregnant and due in March, so I'll have company on the sidelines now
Hope your all well and that your spd settles down Kathryn and that your leave comes soon. Take care all xxx5/9/08 16:24
Hiya, I know it seems like I'm talking to myself again but I thought I'd share this with you all. I have been (as I'm sure you're all fed up of hearing me say) really struggling with my SPD of late and I have been back on the bus for the past two days which has made things worse. So, I'm seeing the physio again on Wednesday to see whether she can help any more, and then I sat and had a think about things at work and I've decided to bring my maternity leave forward. I have some holidays left to take and when our HR guy worked it out, it turns out I could have left TODAY!!!!! So, I have to speak to my boss (or at least one of them......) on Monday - none of them in today - and I'm going to hope that they'll let me finish either one week or two weeks today. At least then I can lay off the painkillers! So, feeling a bit strange now, relieved but also sad as I'll actually be leaving as well of course. But I can't go on like this much longer so I'm happy that I should be able to go soon. Hope you're all ok!
5/9/08 06:57
Hey - you're not doing anything wrong! You're providing her with all of the love, warmth and nourishment that she could possibly need and you can't do anything more than that! It's just so frustrating for you though and quite shocking that they seem to be messing you about rather than helping you.

Kimmi I bet you can't wait until your scan. I'm sure Razamataz is going for a scan at West Brom with Innervision this month too - bet it's the same day! (She lives not far from me and is on DID.)
4/9/08 22:49
kathryn we have no idea at all, i do not even know why a disability team was mentioned as in my eyes she dont need that, im more confused then i was to start with, and very frustrated, i was hoping to have some sort of help before bubs comes, shania needs it and i need to know what im doing wrong, there must be something im not doing

God I'm p'd off with facebook, trying to reply to your message Kathryn but it won't let me
Raaargh
You lot are up at some funny times - do you never sleep.............................
Saying that, I was up at 2am desperately trying to find my Rennies - will have some positioned next to the bed from now on!
Good luck with the scan Kimmi, let us know how you got on.
OMG, finally I have managed to reply, after trying about 20 times!
Roll on Friday Kathryn, its gonna be sad but think of all the day time tv you can watch after that!
