Sorry it's a bit belated, welcome back Barb. Like Kathryn said, at least most of the rain came in the night so you didn't have to sit in the tent all day looking out at it instead!! Sounds like a nice holiday anyway.
I'm trying to persuade dh that we should go camping coz I really enjoyed going with my sis and dad when we were little (mum refused to go!) but he isn't having any of it! I might just have to go without him!
And Kathryn, I'm sure you'll find something else to buy - more clothes!

Hi Barb, welcome home - told you it was lovely there and I'm really glad you had a good time. I guess if you're going to get rain it's best to have it overnight so that you can at least get out and about in the day. Especially when you're in a tent I guess!
I've had bil and sil and there son round for lunch today. They have given us their highchair so they brought that round. Oh my god, it's lovely as well! I'm really pleased with it. It's a Mamas and Papas Prima Papa Evo or something like that. Errr..... I think that's us officially having everything that we need - apart from the pram which we will pick up when we've finished paying for it, probably October or November. I'm so bored now though as we have nothing to go looking for and buy now...... lol!!!!
Hope you're all ok ladies.

Hi Kim, welcome to out thread. Crikey you were up late! Have you had your 20 week scan yet? I'm Kathryn and I live just outside Wolverhampton and this is my third, but feels like my first because I have a rather large age gap.....
Speak to you soon.

Had a lovely anniversary thanks - our curry was delicious and it was really nice to sit down together with the boys to eat - they wouldn't have come if we'd gone out so it was better all round.
Oh it will be lovely in Brittany - I'm not at all jealous!
(I really would love a holiday but we're not going to get one now until goodness only knows when....)We've got time booked off work but it's not the same when you don't go away, and we do have a weekend in Norfolk but that's for a wedding so it won't be like a proper break. You'll have a fab time - don't miss us too much! Hehe!!!! And have a fantastic anniversary too - bet it doesn't seem 5 minutes since you were getting married?! As for feeling old....... well, I'm saying nuffink! Hehe!!!!! Hope you're all well.

Going on the 23rd now, wohoo. Going over to my parents' house in Brittany, nice and cheap!! Hope the weather is nicer there than it is here!
Happy Anniversary for yesterday, hope you had a lovely curry!! Going out is over rated anyway................and over priced!!
It's our first anniversary when we are over in France, I think we are just going to have a bbq for it (weather permitting!)
I'm still tired from the wedding on Saturday and I keep going to bed early, I can't beleive it. I'm getting old, I can't cope anymore!
11/8/08 17:27
Glad it was a good wedding - apart from the toilets and the weather.
When are you going on holiday now then? And where are you going cos you know me, I can't remember anything!!! I'm really tired today as I went back to work but it's our wedding anniversary so we're going to have a nice evening in and we're getting a curry in for tea (cos I can't be bothered to make the effort to go out hehe!).

Hope everyone else is ok.
xxxxx11/8/08 10:15
Well, the wedding was good, definitely was not good weather for it though. Especially for a marquee in the middle of a field!!
I decided not to try the portaloos, apparently they were getting a bit like glastonbury towards the end! Not that I know what glastonbury loos are like but I can imagine!!
Hows everyone doing this week? I'm feeling good (although still knackered from the wedding) no work this week, wohoooo.
And I've moved our holiday forward so we're going a week earlier, can't wait
9/8/08 12:03
Oooohhhh have a lovely time at the wedding. Pity about the weather though.
I've just made a shopping list but I really, really don't want to go out in this rain. Hey ho. How is everyone else today? 9/8/08 11:58
Supermum, that has to be a boy
Only a quick visit, getting ready for a wedding...............................argh

thankyou ladies, yes neil is gutted he had to miss me looking like a pleb
barb my hospital dont re book, they do what ever neccessary to get the measurements, my next step would of been to go and have a sugary snack and something to drink before trying again, she said i would be there all day if neccessary haha
oh and my pic is bigger because i'm special haha
8/8/08 16:31
Hey supermom how come your picture is bigger than ours???

8/8/08 16:06
Hi Supermom, so glad all went well, again the upside down thing does wonders for the imagination!!!! Mine was the same..refused to move...at least you dont have to go back again! how is everyone else?? are you feeling any better Kathryn? speak to you all soon..Barb
8/8/08 14:50
Aww bless, that must have been lovely to see though even if you didn't get to see as much as you'd hoped! I'm really pleased that it all went well - although the visions I currently have of you being almost upside down and on your side are quite hilarious! Haha!!!! Catch you all later!
xxxxx8/8/08 10:58
bubs is fine, but i have one stubborn baby, it lay on its back and refused to move for the sonographer to get measurements of the head and view the spine, so she lowered the bed so i was practically upside down, and i had to roll half onto my side, she eventually got the measurements then bubs decided to move haha, so takes after its daddy already!!!
the baby is very active too, so active and stubborn makes me scared haha, even the sonographer said this baby will give me some trouble lol.
because i didnt want to know the sex i didnt get to watch half of the scan because she turned the screen so i was abit dissapointed, but i did see bubs wave, it also grabbed its foot and put it to its mouth!

LOL Wilko! And congrats on being our 400th post!!!!!!! Hehe!!!!!
Well, I was very emotional all day yesterday, cried at everything! Was very angry about everything the day before. Today not been too bad so the hormones must have settled again hehe! My friend left to start her maternity leave today though (one of the things I got upset about yesterday) and it was really hard saying goodbye to her. I'm rubbish at goodbyes anyway as I always get tearful, but whereas everyone else was just wishing her well for her leave, I was saying a proper goodbye because of course I'm not going back. And she was kinda my best friend there. Did really well today until I left work and I started to wibble but I made a hasty retreat through the door so I saved myself the embarrassment of blarting in front of everyone haha!
How's everyone else doing? Certain people have been very quiet just lately - mentioning no names, Supermom!
Hope you're all ok anyway.
