hey girls... finally out of hiding. Baby Arianne Elisha arrived at 3.36pm on 27th Nov weighing 7lb11oz with a headful of brown hair.... we were in until Monday night. and i haven't sat down since.
thank you all for your texts... sorry i was unable to reply Joel spent up all my credit on his parents lol

been an emotional week too.
Joel was made redundant on wed 26th!! bloomin typical... so first thing tues we were all over town calling here there and everywhere, job centre council etc.
yesterday was sepnt doing more of the same.
alaw also had her xmas nativity..... she was a turkey lol so cute
poor Arianne has already been proded and poked more than neccessary for a newborn, by various dr's and nurses, we had a worrying time for a few days. thankfully all seems to be ok. will know for deff in 3months..

Well Alfie is starting to settle down now, Friday and Saturday nights were both very sleepless, not surprising though seeing as he was home within 3 hours of being born lol must have been a big shock to the system being in a nice dark warm snug place and then being carted around in this big wide world lol. Last night was alot better he was up at just gone midnight then about 3.30am and then 6.45 so we actually got some sleep. He has slept all day today too and is settling into a feeding pattern.
Oooh little mans crying and dh is in bed, better go, catch you girls soon xx

I txt Beth today to wish her luck. I'm sure we'll hear from her in a day or 2. Hope evrything went well for her. Can't believe we have our 1st baby already! We're did that time go?!?!
Good luck for tomorrow Sarah. I don't blame u for turning down physio. That sometimes is painful enough on its own! You've done well for putting up with the pain for so long especially with Casey and working! So the 2nd one isn't too far away now! Can't wait to hear how u get on!

I'm pretty much the same as u. All going good just waiting. I had Mason at 38 wks exactly and am 38 wks today. Just hope I don't go over! I hate this waiting game. It wouldn't be as bad if Mason wasn't early but now I'm kinda expecting it to be anytime from now on. Would hate the thought of going over and having up to another month to go!I will take my phone intop hospital too and let u all know how it goes when it's time. We weren't allowed last time but I sneaked it in.
Mason is being a little sh!t too. Purposley doing things I've told him not to just to get my attention. We've bought a toy he wants now and when he gets to 10 on his reward chart he can have it. He gets a little treat half way through too. It seems to be working. Just wish I had my usual pre pregnancy energy levels and movability then I could handle him a little better. I think he will be fine when bubs gets here and even better when he can play with it. Although I'm dreading him coming back from my dads as he lets him get away with anything and he comes back really naughty. The other day I told him off went out the room and when I came back my dad was cuddling him. I told him to stop and he said he wasn't cuddling him just had his arms around him.
Does he realise he's making my life harder?!?! I mean who's supposed to be the one who's done it all before 4 times and know what their doing. Sometimes I think he doesn't have a clue!Well good to hear everyones good. This thread is gonna get really exciting over the next week! Take care girls. xxxx

Hey, Not heard anything from Beth yet, I was thinking the same earlier but didn't actually get round to posting been on and off here all day but not had the chance to look for the thread and post a lengthy one with casey and Lily(childminding little girl). Don't know what time she was going in, I've text her so will let you know when and if I get a reply. We are now child free wooo hoo..... casey has gone to her nanny's for the night and no other kids now until 5th Jan..... well apart from bubs.
Casey has been very testing for the last few days, being a madam and whinging and demanding things all the time. Everyone keeps saying that she probably realises that things will be changing so is pushing her luck, which I think is probably more than likely the case but I don't want to be using it as an excuse for her bad behaviour, Im not one for making excuses for them. So Keira might be doing the same hun.
Lorna hows things with you hun.
apparantly we are allowed to have our phones on in maternity unit so I will text you all when bubs arrives, I'll hopefully be able to get onto bounty too while there as I have internet on my phone. xx
Right off to have my last supper.....fillet steak, spicy wedges, corn on cob, asparagus and tinned toms followed by a bucket of ben and jerrys.

Things fine here. Keira is being a little madam and testing boundries something chronic. Last night she hit her dad and today she kicked me - nothing hard but just did it and then looked us straight in the eye to see what our reaction would be.....
Had a burst of energy today so managed to get some stuff done around the house. MIL arrived this evening and mum comes out on Sunday so thats me with babysitter cover until the day after dd so gives me some peace of mind with Keira.

Nothing much happening with me. Had the mw yesterday and my iron levels are good, bp was great and baby sounds good too so just a waiting game now. My bump has dropped and I've been getting low down tightenings but you know what like - I'm probably looking for signs that are just not there lol!

Hiya girls
Well its been an eventful couple of days for me. Yesterday my sciatica was so bad I couldn't move, I had to get Neil home from work cos I couldn't do anything. Managed to get a consultant appointment at the hospital for 10am this morning. They examined me and I was given two options physio and tablets which I refused, tablets not working for me now so I doubt the physio would help much either and I can't bare to be like this for much longer SO the second option was induction, which I obviously have decided to go for which means that I am going in on Friday at 7.30am, they did a sweep today so who knows what will happen....
Hows everyone else?
Im off to lay on sofa cos this pain is too much..

sorry not been on in a while.
been busy helping my parents move house (to a house about 5min away
) ..... didn't actually do much other than empty the boxes lol but hey i was 'there' loland since mum has been living much closer she has insisted that i'd be much comfier and safer at her house 'just incase'... so not had access to tinternet.... she's also insisted on taking alaw to and from school everyday too. i know she's trying to be helpful and supportive but i feel a little suffocated lol
hope you girls are keeping well, not long now for any of us!!
i go in tomorrow for pre-ops, and then i have to go straight to alaw's school to attend the afternoon part of a college course i've been taking 'learning with families'.... it's to help you support and develop your childs literacy and numeracy, in the afternoons we work with the children in the school (prob mentioned it before.... but my memory is nil at the mo. lol), and then alaw has a school disco at 6.... mum wants us in her house after that for a meal, and to settle alaw...... so busy day!!! will be too exahusted to have a baby on thurs lol.
so i'll prob be next on next week (she says) when i'll be home with baby
will let you know how it goes via txt over weekend. weight etc....

Hi girls. How is everyone?
I'm feeling better today!
My stretch marks aren't really that bad only a few small ones under my belly button and there not red. I'm sure they won't be noticable. Or so I keep telling myself! I'm loving my hair. I had it chopped back to my shoulders. It's a bit shorter than I wanted but it will grow to he perfect length once bubs and xmas is here. I just coloured it dark brown again. Nothing new. My hair is brown but I like it darker and need to cover a few geys lol!
Yes I was 14 days early with Mason. I have 17 days to go till edd now! Had a few pains last night so sat and watched a dvd and waited but it stopped. My lady bits are a bit sore today. Maybe it's just things starting to get ready! I'm ready for it now. I don't think I'll ever be ready for the stitches again but maybe I'll be more lucky this time.
I have a poorly Mason today and feeling like I'm coming down with something too.
We're just gonna take it easy this wk and relax at home so we should be ok.Was woken up a few nights back from a noise from the neighbours. I thought they had come back but the council had employed an empty property support company to put metal shutters over the windows. I guess to prevent someone from breaking in. It got broke into last wk. The took the money from the electric meter. It must of been someone they knew for them to know they had a coin meter because I haven't known anyone to have a coin meter for years! Anyway this empty property support team decided to fit these metal shutter at midnight and it went on for 2 hrs! Bashing them again the walls some of them had to be lifted up a ladder and through the windows. The emergency council number was busy so couldn't get through to anyone. I just thought after putting those people in there, then ignoring all our complaints and them killing a neighbour, getting them to do this at midnight was just taking the pi$$. We had a complaint letter when we 1st moved in because we were apparently making too much noise decorating! I never realised how loud a paint brush could be lol! But it's alright for them!
I hope everyone is ok. Sarah bet its nice having bubs room all sorted. Bet u can't wait to finish work. How long u got to go? Not long now Beth! 3 days!!! How u feeling?

Oh Lorna poor you, I haven't got any yet and like you didn't have any with Casey either, just praying I don't get some now. Don't worry about sounding vain about it hun, I would be the same too, I think half of it is cos we never had them before and got such a short while to go you think 'Why now', what colour you done your hair??
Really glad your neighbours have been caught, I hope they don't plead not guilty and have to drag you and Neil to court over it, not a nice thing to have to go through.
I have a feeling I am gonna be the last one to have my lo, Beth you've obviously only got a definite 4 days to go, Lorna didn't you say Mason was early? and Lynn I was also very overdue with Casey she was 42+2 and that was only cos she was induced but seeing as I am due later I reckon I'll be the last one to meet my bump..booo
I also did the last of my xmas shopping yesterday-well I hope its the last anyway-knowing me I've probably forgotten someone.... Today I have been having a BIG sortout, baby's room is finally ready for it, I just emptied everything that shouldn't be in there into our bedroom, that way it has to be dealt with lol, I even started packing the hospital bags today, baby's bag is virtually done andI have most things for mine ready to go in, just need to check them off as I pack them. Dh got the car seat out the garage too so thats sat in the cot now with baby's snowsuit for its trip home from hospital. We also bought the last few bits needed for bubs too.
Apart from names I think I am actually just about ready for this lo's arrival - well apart from finishing work!!!
My sciatica has been playing me up big time over the last couple of weeks, one minute I am fine then the next it just comes shooting back and I can bearly stand let alone walk.
Right must get back to the tidying and packing I have been skiving for too long......xx

awwwww Lorna, sorry to see you've been feeling so low ((((HUGS)))). I know what you mean re stretch marks though. When I was pregnant I had none with Keira until week 41 when a couple appeared and by the time I had her the following week my tummy looked like Freddy Krugar had attacked it lol - I was absolutely gutted so I can sympathise. . I'm so glad that your neighbours aren't getting back to the house - talk about officials trying to cover their own backs saying they had no complaints about them - they clearly should never have been placed in a family area..... Anyway I hope your hair colour turned out well and cheered you up hunni xxx

I've had a busy weekend again just finishing off Christmas shopping and final bits for baby. Just been and bought my Christmas tree (artificial) just in case I don't get the chance later on. My body is definately telling me to slow down a bit so I'm trying to take things easier - you'll know what like - not easy with a toddler lol! I can't believe that I only have 13 days left until dd!!!!

hiya!
i'm in a s*** mood today as i've just found some stetch marks under my bump. i'm sure they weren't there yesterday. have practically no stretch marks from both pregnancies up until now. i only have 22 days left ffs! why did they have to come now! sorry i know i'm being so vain but it's just got me on a bit of a downer. i feel hugh! been thinking about having to loose all the weight and now stretch marks! i've lost count how many times i've gone back to look at them in the mirror! i so hope they fade. well no more choc for me!
i've just had my hair chopped off. going to colour it tonight so that should make me feel better when i'm all sorted. may have to do a fake tan see if i can diguise them. god i'm still ranting on about it! sorry!
my friend that did my hair said she was expecting me to be alot bigger so i can't be that big i suppose.they have caught my neighbours. well 2 men 1 being the man that lived next door. his girlfriend has been given bail until jan but is not allowed back to the property. they have been remanded in custody as they didn't apply for bail although their solicitor made a statement saying..'although we are not applying for bail on this occation we do plan to in the near future'. so i think they will plead not guilty which will mean we will have to go to court and give evidence. they are back in court on 1st dec. think this is when they will give their pleas. i don't know how they can even think about pleading not guilty. i mean what could they say 'i punched and kicked a man until he was on the floor unconcious then continued to kick him in the head some more but didn't mean to kill him'. i dont think so! we've since found out that he was given the place after being released from prison for stabbing someone! when we complained about music and parties and fighting till 4am they told neil to approach them and ask them to turn it down which he did on 1 occation. they just ignored him and turned it up but its lucky he didn't p*** them off and they turn on him or something. they refused to get the police to come out on every occation too. they shouldn't have told neil to approach them and knowing their history should have forwarded it straight onto the poilce. our neighbourhood is going mad about all this! all our neighbours are elderly and we live right by a school. they shouldn't have been put here or at least they should have been watched. the council have tried saying that no complaints were made about them which 100's were and on every occation they phoned me back after reporting it to the police. then someone from the council came knocking on my door asking where they were as it looked like their door had been smashed in by police. these people obviously have no comunication at all!
...and breathe! god am i in a stroppy mood or what?

Hi girls!
Having a crappy day today lol! Feel absolutely knackered and crampy, like I'm just about to come on and I just want to curl up into a ball with a hot water bottle, instead I've been trying to keep Keira entertained and then have just got back from library duty at Keira's playgroup lol! Gonna have a big cup of tea and some chocolate and cheer myself up a bit
So how are things with you all - any signs of labour yet?????

Hello girls I'm back!!! Bounty has been so slow these last couple of weeks its been unreal plus I've only just got rid of my visitors.
Keira had a fab birthday. She loved the bouncy castle as did all the kids and it was great because it was a beautiful day here and we were able to get it outside. She was thoroughly spoiled by everyone and all in all she had a wonderful time - the effort was worth it even though I thought I'd never walk again afterwards. Its my own fault really for having a go on the bouncy castle, doing the hokey cokey amongst other things
Been feeling just not right these last couple of days, quite nauseus and started with period type pains today so I'm hoping its a good sign that things are limbering up and I'll not be going too far overdue this time round. Last time I had no signs at all, even when they were inducing me!!!
Lorna - I can't believe what your neighbours did to that poor man in your street, you must have been terrified. Good on your oh for trying to help him theres not many people who would have these days.... Hope things have settled down in the street now and that you are being allowed visitors again. Have they caught them yet???? Apart from that hope you are feeling as well as you can at this stage lol! Oh and I love the names Ava and Kaiden (although they are all really nice).
Sarah - Glad to hear the funeral was ok, nice to hear that you were able to reminice with your family. I don't know how you do it still working - I'm cream crackered just being at home lol! Hope you're feeling OK though and not pushing yourself too much xx

Aww glad to hear it all went ok on Monday Sarah. I was thinking of u. At least u will have ur little bundle of joy to help everyone feel a bit happier this xmas. I don't know how u are still managing to work. Mason shatters me out as it is, I couldn't cope with anybody else's kids! I noticed on another post u said that ur dh nickname is nelly bear. My hubby Neil's nickname is nelly too. I don't really get why.

Yes I'm fine today, just can't wait for it to all be over with. Yesterday I was speaking to someone who knew the man and he was saying how soul taking it was for the family and how much they are struggling to come to terms with it. I just burst into tears! It's so sad. They were asking if there was anything we could say to give them some comfort but there really isn't. The best we could say was that he was unconcious so probably didn't feel the pain or know what was happening. They still haven't got the people that done it. I've spent the past few days inside as I can't move my car. We had to go and get a few bits of food shopping and carry it back last night as u can't get a taxi anywhere near my front door. We even got told off by the police man for leaving saying that it's a crime scene and must be kept sterile. Apparently we will leave our dna, but we live there our dna will be there anyway and they know it's not us. When Neil came in from work he had to sign in and they would only let him in on the condition he would stay in for the rest of the night. I know they need to get all the evidence they can but they're not making it easy to carry on with every day living. I'm still not allowed visiters either. I just hope it's all over with soon and these people get caught. At least before bubs arrives as I don't want to bring hin/her back to a murder scene. We've given our statements and will have to go to court unless he pleads guilty on murder. Which I dubt he will, I'm sure he'll try and get away with it. It seems that the people they were questioning were saying the main person wasn't even there. If something was done about it when we first started complaining it wouldn't have come to this. Neil said what if they we get put in danger by testifying and they said as soon as they do something they will be able to act on it. But look what's had to happen before they have acted this time. We have no option but to testify though. They can't get away with it.
Last night I was convinced bubs would be making an appearance today. I kept getting pains around every half hr I went to bed to get some rest just incase. It woke me up a few times in the night but seems to have stopped this morning. I'm in so much pain 'down there'. Finding it painful to even walk and I'm getting bruising around that area and the top inside of my thighs. Were still stuck between 2 names for each. Kaci and Ava for a girl or Shay/Shaylun and Kaiden for a boy. I just acn't decide.

Hi girls, how are you all?
Had nans funeral on Monday and it really hit me hard seeing the coffin, but after the service it was a lovely day, seeing all my cousins and talking about the good days we all spent together at xmas and on holidays with nan. My back is playing me up most days now, sciatica has really kicked in and my ankles and feet are swelling, they feel like lead weights virtually all day now and the worst thing is I still have another three weeks before I finish work. Don't know how Im gonna survive...
Lorna hun, how are you today, are you getting over the shock of you horrid night the other day?

Im off to tescos now, can't sit indoors too long otherwise I'll be glued to this computer all day lol.....

NO MORE WORK!!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!! Yes I am now officially a lady what luches or maybe binges. I keep thinking I'll start being a bit sensible in what I eat as I'm gonna have to shed it all soon. But I keep saying from tomorrow but tomorrow never seems to come lol! I will start tomorrow. Gotta finish the strawberry chessecake in the frindge tonight first!
Sarah, thats always the way with having furniture delivered. They can never get it right! Luckily Mason's bed was all ok. He's just showed it off to grandad. Everyone that comes in has to see his new big boys bed lol! Bless him. We had all new living room furniture at the begining of the yr and the trouble we had with that!

I have my wii fit..well for xmas! Neil's not going to get me my straigheners but people have asked what I want for xmas and I've said just put some money in a card so I will put it all together and buy them with that. It is alot of money for both so I really don't mind, as long as I get them that is!
I will pay for them on my credit card and use the money to pay the bill off. That way I can have them to open them on xmas morning, if I can last that long!Yes still having my hair done but not had it done yet. Will have it done next wk now. If my usual friend isn't feeling better I have another friend I can ask or someone I used to work with that I can trust. I'm really fussy about who cuts my hair. Wouldn't trust anyone I didn't know. If I did and went to a salon I would have to pay for a senior and it's so pricey these days!

How awful that your oh got made redundant, like you say its bloody typical not what you need with a new baby and just before xmas. Glad you are home now hun, you were out quite quickly for a c-section so you both must be doing well, sorry to hear she has been prodded and poked about so much, its awful seeing such little one being prodded and poked like that hope everything with is fine hun. xx
We had some really awful news just after Alfie was born, Neils grandad passed away two hours after he was born so such a happy day but a very sad one too. Then on Sunday evening on his was home from here my dad and his girlfriend were in a car accident, a lorry clipped their car on the M25 and spun them round and dad just managed to turn the wheel of the car just before the lorry smashed straight into them but then they ended up in the central reservation, luckily they managed to miss any other cars and both got out completely unhurt, I can't believe how lucky they both were, It just doesn't bare thinking about what could have happened especially after the events of the few days beforehand.
