lol! thats preg brain for you! im due the 19th!
i didnt use a tens machine, ive heard bad and goos about them but didnt fancy it. my mum said she used one with my bro but she said it wasnt very good, and she got back aches afterwards from it! xx

That really doesnt sound like fun at all!! My friend had an emergency one as well and she said she couldnt do anything with the baby as well and i think i would find that really difficult specially when your trying to bond!
I'm trying to keep open minded about it just in case i dont get the option of having a natural birth but really would prefer it even if it went on for days i would prefer the pain to be over with then rather carrying on for weeks!
I'm glad yu said i forgot when you were due AGAIN!!! I'm 7 weeks yesterday WOOHOO!!!!

jess trust me you dont want a section! i had eergency 1 with luke and even though it wasnt that bad and i was out off hospital quite quickly, i wouldnt recommend it at all! i felt like i was robbed off my birth. it was so painful afterward for about 8 wks, everytine i laughed, coughed or sneezed i had to hold a cushion ove my scar! and its arkward wearing clothes afterwards as well because mine all sit low on my hips so they were all on scar and it just wasnt comforatble! i couldnt pick luke up out off the cot in the hospital or change his nappy! that for me was the hardest part off it!
ive only got 6wks left now but im getting fed up now! i cant get comfortable anymore!

Thats good to know that even up until 36 weeks yours moved - gives me some hope!! On one hand i like the idea of a C section cause you know when baby is coming but i think i will feel like i've missed out if i cant do it naturally! Got everything crossed for the scan!
Did either of you use a Tens machine? Was debating on using one but seeings i have no pain threshold i doubt it will work for me!
Sounds like your not having too much fun Gem - i dont think i have had a bh yet?? Is that normal?? I'm 33 weeks now but having felt them i dont think - get lots of heartburn and liek this pulsing feeling inside but nothing else?
I'm getting soooo excited now - hate wishing time away but cant help it!!

ros if you go into labour on your own you can cme round here! so your not alone!
well donr on the swimming jess i couldnt manage 18 seconds at the mo! my nesting is starting to kick in, but only in the sense that i lokk at someting and think i want that done, but i djus dont have the energy to do everything my head is telling me to do! i do get some done just not a lot!
jess- my placenta was low lying with luke, the scanned me at 36wks and it did move, but mw told me that they can move roght up to that point and sometimes even atfer then! hope it does move for you! ill keep my fingers crossed!
im getting really string bh all the time now! a bath and paracetemol doesnt get rid off them all the time, they are even wking me up in the nigh! but they go away after a couple off days so not labour!
between bh and going to the toilet im not getting much sleep at all! im just thankful luke isnt teething at the min! im starting to get to the point where ive had enough now! i just want baby here! my hormones are all over the place again! i burst into tears this morning because i couldnt get a box off napies open! lol! and my brain has gone completely to mush! xx

Gem - i'm so glad things are working out - thank god, arguing is the last thing you need!!! WOW on the pram - what a deal - lucky thing!!!
My update is that i went for hte scan and even though the placenta had moved it wasnt very much so i have to go back again at 36 weeks on the 28 nov to get it checked again - but have heard conflicting storeis as to whether or not it will actually move now
great to see bubs again though but lik you say i would rather go natural!!! I'm just such a fuss ass at wanting to get about so will be unbearable if i cant move!! Well if the weigh books are right i'm heading for an 8 pounder (not sure if i have already said that!)Swimming - achieved it on my own but found it very hard going and gave up after 20 mintues got 18 lengths in but felt it on my chest and my back and my bump went solid - i thhought it was supposed to make me light lol it ddnt and i was shattered!!! Coupled with not sleeping i have now had a really deep sleep on the sofa!! But will try again but trying to get myself out of the pool was amusing forgetting that i'm alot heavier now!
Ros - i wish i could come and help but i had a list as long as my arm today and havent managed to do a thing - i havent been hit by the nesting thing yet dont think i have the energy for it now!! Still telling wayne off for using the nursery as his second room to no avail lol!!
Getting alot of period pains now and uncomfy down below but take it that its all normal!

Sorry girls, I am so rubbish at writing on here.
Gem I'm so pleased you and Rob seem to be working things out it's brill news. What's it like not working now? Bet your loving it. That's a real bargain on the pram you got well done you.
Jess - How was the swimming? I doubt I'd get my cossie on lol, might have a go and take Ryan just for something to do.
I've got loads of stuff to do around the house and no energy left to do it with. Got a wardrobe and matress coming at some point lol so will be organising the spare room with the bird in and having to paint it all up for Ryan to move into. Got the damn bathroom to finish as my back & belly, hips etc have been playing up I haven't been able to sit on the edge and get the fiddly bits done. AND it all needs doing before bubs arrives as MIL is staying & the troops are visiting over Christmas.
ANY tips for staying sane if I go into labour on my own? Phil's going down to see his Dad and sister xmas eve before collecting his mum to bring her up to stay. It'll be just my luck I'll go into labout about 40mins after he's left and I'll be on my own for most of the bloody thing...

things with me and rob are getting alot better now! really pleased its wrking out with us!
i bought my pram today! ive been looking eveyrwhere to tyr and find a cheap one ( being a bit off a cheapskate at the mo!) but hadnt had much luck, untill today! i found a lady selling one thats 4months old and only been used 3 times! she is selling it to me for £150! icluding a car seat that has never been used! she is also giving me a load off newborn clothes and a play gym for the baby! bargain! the cheapest brand new that i could find with a car seat was £310! so im paying just less than half!! im soo excited! rob is going picking it up on sat! i cant wait! jus need a baby to put in it now! lol!
how are your bumps doing? ive got mw again next wk, im hoping baby has had a growth spurt, would be lovely to have another scan and see baby but dont want to in these circumstnces. how did your scan go jess? has your placenta moved? xx

Taken the plunge today and actually going swimming on my own

I'm on for a bit this mrning but off again to my mum's today so wont be around again!
Glad you and Rob are sorting things out Gem - the last thing you want now is hassle and would be alot nicer for you when baby is here to have his support! Bloody Men lol!
I'm good - i think baby has definitely found his/her legs and arms as i'm really feeling them now and everyone can see them coming out of my skin which i get rather impressed with but everyone else finds strange and tells me to put it away lol! haha
Good luck at the midwifes this morning! I'm 32 weeks on Thursday cant wait and get my scan this Friday to see if my placenta has moved so really looking forward to that!
Ros - i hope your back is better now - not long now chick! xx

hows the pains ros? your bumo is looking swell! lol!
rob is coming round soon to talk, he wants to try and sort things out, which if m honest i want to as well. im not letting him move back in yet though, but feeling alot better. the weeknd was really hard beong on my own, i did enjoy the break from luke but i missed him so much! its the longest ive been with out seeing him!
ive got mw in the moring looking forward to hearing bubs again! im nearly 33wks now! not long left! ive started taking rasberry eaf tablets now as well. i drank the tea with luke but it was horrilbe so giving the tablets a try this time!

morning!
haha just about holding on in there for my lady wot lunches money! get my last wage next week so will have to hold on to that one for a bit longer! still went out for lunch yesterdy but my cooked meal had gone down to a toasty! lol! do either of you feel that you are stuck in this bit right now - i feel like i have been here forever! getting so excited now though and thankfully have now bought my last bit which is a bouncer chair or whatever they are called so i'm done just got to put it all together and make it look like a nursery now - no ros wayne is still treating the nursery as his second room! soon i will start putting it all together! actually bought my hospital bag so just got to fill it now got most bits but need a couple more!!
gem so sorry to hear about rob being a plank but maybe your better off letting him go and do his man thing and then he will be back with tail between his legs going iwant to come home! they normally do! realise what there missing!
how's the pain now ros - i'm sorry mate ive been s*** i didnt realise you were still getting it!

no im not going ti try anymore with him, if he trys wih me then ill talk to him but im going to push him into it, its really hard at the the mo though, he cae to get luke today and i didnt know whether i wanted to punch him or hug him. i cried after he left felt better for it! then went to asda and gt all my stuff for my hospital bag! im so unorganised this time, i havent even gt my bag out yet to get it packed! only bought my first pack off nappies tonight!
i finish work next sat, i cant wait! they still ahvent given me my SMP1, they told me tonight that ive got to give them back my matb1 now so they can send it off! why they couldnt do that when i first gave them it in aug i dont know, so god knows when ill get any maternity pay! im so fooked off wit all! havin a really bad wk, nothing is ging right!
luke is great thanks, he was a little bugger this morning but he makes me laugh so much, he is into ,kissing and hugging at the min, which is lovely but when your trying to get things done and hes pulling at my legs every 2 seconds it gets a bit annoying! i love his hugs and isses tough! think if it wasnt for him id have fallen apart this wk

Sorry to hear about you and Rob hun, are you going to try any more with him? Or are you just going to let him go? Shame he doesn't seem to know what he wants just now. Hope he works it out for all of your sakes - sooner rather than later would be good too. When do you finish up at work hun? Has Luke been ok with you lately? Ryan's been a clingy little git driving me mental with his howling fits.
have you run out of lady wot lunch money yet Jess? lol I'm trying to decorate 3 rooms upstairs and attempt to get carpet down and I don't think I'm gonna get very far...Have you finished your nursery now? Threw a huff the other day as my neighbour has sold his house with the same estate agent as us and yet again we didn't even get an option to have the house viewed. Pulled up the sign and threw it on the grass

We went in an told the agents they were shít and to cancel the contract stop wasting our time and surprise surprise we were on the list for ringing lol - They said to Phil I don't know if you've noticed but we've sold your neighbours house - Congratu-bloody-lations - hadn't bothered to ring us for weeks and weeks on end and we're supposed to be happy at getting new neighbours pmsl yeah right!!This pain is driving me nuts now really got to lie down with a hot water bottle see if it helps, nanite girlies xx

well things with me and rob have gon from bad to worse he has gone now and taken all his stuff. he decieded to tell me yesterday that he borrowed £50 when he was out at the weeken, not to bad but we have been struggling to pay the bills recently and havent got all the stuff for the baby yet either! so i went mad and he jus told me that he wanted to leave so he went! im doing ok though, had a bit off a cry tonight but just got to look to the future now!

i couldnt believe it she said what an active one you have! I was wondering if i'm going end up with one of those horrendously hyperactive kids!! Probably knowing my luck!! Dont have to see her now till 34 weeks!

Are you hving another scan? Some people on here seem to have extra ones?
As for the sleep i'm seem to do better when i dont try and sleep and keep doing stuff! Wait for it - i'm on the sofa bet you i fall asleep lol!

lol at the baby sticking it's bum out. Mine keeps attempting to lie spread eagled! Best catching sleep when you can hun even if it's not a night. Sleeping with a newborn is easier though - you get a kind of suspended sleep and I always find that as soon as my head hits the pillow again I'm asleep.

Sorry i havent been around! Had mw today which went well and baby even stuck is/her ass in the air which she then decided to prod haha! All well really just waiting for my next scan next friday to see if the placenta has moved which i'm told that it should have!
Gem - glad things are being worked out with you and rob, the last thing you need is any extra stress in your life right now, specially with baby around the corner!
I've decided to actually give up on sleep now at night baby is so active (which i love) that i'm now sleeping from about 3-6.30 so just thinking that it might put me in good sted for when the baby actully arrives!

i know i'm gonna be pretty crap when it comes to the pain and my mate who only had contrctions for an hour before having an emergency C section said that she would have taken anything they offered as she was in horrendous pain so i dont hold out much hope and just thought it might take the edge off!
Going to see mw on wed for checkup so think will ask her, cause i have a different mw coming to do my birth plan but had to put her off because she wangted to come the same time as my scan at 36 wk and if you order them they turn up 3 weeks before you due but mine would more likely be 2 weeks!
I'm off to get my pram now with my mum when she finally turns up!! How exciting even though its pourig with rain here
