I've got a 10ft one on the back garden. trouble is I filled it on a really nice hot day it took 6hrs to fill by this time it was too late to bgo in so I put cover on and we haven't had a decent day since typical. I think its called sods law!!!!!

Its the bits of floating grass and fluff that get me... Rank.

haha i'm full of plans! as long as i find a pool i'm confortable with then i'll go as i love being in water but i HATE lots of other people being in the pool when you're banging into each other trying to swim, and also the hygiene - ugh. i wish i had my own pool lol.

for me personally I have gone for a full swimsuit...I've had a really nice one off the Vertbaudet website, it was free delivery and £10 off your first order, so I only paid £11 for it. I went swimming for the first time on Wednesday and it was really comfy and I didn't feel self concious or anything. X

I went swimming last week in a normal bikini, and felt quite concious. I dont think I'd do it again now, getting bigger all the time.
I have the same problem with a Tankini, but arent sure what to do. Ive got a long back, and still have small ribs and shoulders, so think a bigger size would probably still be way to short, and too big at the top.
Was kinda hoping that somewhere might sell Maternity Tankini's? But not seen any yet.
This is also the plan for me Laura! I said last week that id start going once a week from now, but funnily enough I havent been this week...

hehe you and your catalogue lyndsey.
thanks for the help, i may go shopping and just try a few on, dotty p's must have some but i'm wondering will they because of the time of year, shops are getting autumn things in...i've got a bikini but i just don't know how i feel about getting my bump out and scaring everyone!
15/8/08 14:37
Laura if you are not fussy i bought mine off ebay its really nice and it only cost 1.99
15/8/08 14:34
i did that i bought a tankini top in a bigger size but normal size bottoms and it just looks hideous lol on they upside i got it from my catalogue int he sale so only cost £10. I had just spent £35 on a new cosy before i fell pregnant heeh so not buying anymore lolxxx
15/8/08 14:32
i was thinking of the size bigger thing but then it will be hanging off me at the top as i have a narrow ribcage.
15/8/08 14:30
crashin from din,i just bought a normal tankini in size bigger so it's bit longer, got it from peac***s and was only £7 in they're sale and its dead nice!

does anyone know where i can go for this where it's not expensive? not sure if i want an all in one as i don't find them flattering although at least the bump would stay covered. was thinking maybe little shorts or knickers and a tankini top.
the plan is start swimming at least once a week when i'm off work as i won't be getting much other exercise!
thanks x

Seen nice maternity tankinis on ebay and mothercare.
I bought a funky halter neck swimming costume with big blue and green spots on in Blooming Marvellous.
