I had a very bad experience with ds and spoke to mw about it this time. She told me that 2nd are always easier n quicker????? she advised me on home birth but I think I wud still rather prefer hospital but as mw keeps reminding me if I make it to hospital in time with it being 2nd pg. When she came for home visit she was late appologised the story was she had been called out as a ladies waters had broke in the bedroom she made her way to the house but by the time the lady had got to the bottom of the stairs the lo had arrived and mw had missed it. she was in labour from water breaking all of 10mins (i like the sound of that) overall labour 32mins

Saw midwife yesterday and had a long chat about my previous birth as it was very traumatic and how much it is affecting my pregnancy this time. Had Ds in hospital and it all got very panicky and had to have a very rushed assisted delivery which is still very much in my mind.  To my surprise the midwife said for me to seriously consider a home delivery this time, which has totally thrown me as i was thinking about a cesarian. the more i think about it, the more i am coming around to the idea as i never want to set foot in the hosp again. I would love to know your experiences as i don't know anyone who has ever done this. xx
