THANKS. THE CAFFEINE CONTENT IS EXTREMELY LOW AND I ONLY DRINK ONE 380ML BOTTLE A DAY IF I DO DRINK IT. I DONT DRINK TEA OR COFFEE ONLY WATER OR FRUIT JUICE.

I asked my midwife about this because I used to do a lot of sport and so was drinking powerade and lucozade etc. She told me that one of the small bottles a day was fine but no more as it does contain lots of glucose and caffine. She said for me I should just carry the little bottle with me because i have funny turns when my blood sugar goes too low. So I think one of the new little bottles is fine.

there isn't caffeine in it i remember!  even if there was it's not going to do any harm drinking a bottle a day, as pp said we're allowed a certain amount x

there is 0.012% caffeine in the bottle i drink and i know you can have 4 cups of coffee a day - which i dont drink and i think thats something like 300mg of caffine so i hardly think my wee bottle would matter

Not sure if you've googled it hun, but just had a quick look.

Seems that its fine in moderation (As you are doing).  Coz the baby absorbs pretty much what we eat and drink, if you drank tonnes of the stuff it can lead to a high birth weight coz of all the sugar.  But I guess the same would apply if you sat there eating sweets all day.  Hope that helps a little.  xx

i dont think there is any caffeine in it, my mw has told me to drink to help with migraines because it gives you energy and no caffeine. but if there is caffeine in it 1 bottle a day should be fine because you can drink up to 8 cans off coke! xx

yeah but surely one small bottle a day cant be harmful when im not drinking anything else with caffine in it? my mw knows i drink it.

I went crazy for lucozade in my last pregnancy and my mw went mad!! it does contain caffeine and its really not good for you to have 2 much

I have been drinking about 3 bottles a week- i love the taste... I drink about two cups of tea in the morning to waken me up as well. I never gave it a thought that drinking this would be a problem.

yeah not going to do any harm!  you should see the amount of sugar i eat, it'd look like something from 'you are what you eat'!

i don't think there is any caffeine in it all, all glucose from what i remember!

this has been asked before but how much do you reckon is ok to drink per day - i dont drink coffee or tea so no cafeine there! Do you think one bottle of the above size is ok per day xxx
