got i feel embarrased about going to MW now as bubs is moving a lot now hahah. i will need to cancel doctors appt that i made last wk for tomorrow as i was only going to get her to do what the MW done today haha. xx

I brought my doppler from Amazon. I only brought it coz i studied as a midwife for 2 years and im abit of a worry wart sometimes. It has defo put my mind at rest a few times.  x

HAHA no i just mean that they dont start their clinics until 930 and they are open at 830 so its more than likely you will get them between 830 and 9 and also ive tried at lunchtime before and only seem to get them areound about 1250 lol - she gave me her moby number today to phone her when i got to surgery - 5 mins after i called haha xxx

  that was so funny..I cant believe you have all their times and moby numbers   good for you though

I can just about imagine your midwife in the O2 shop right now ordering a new phone number

Just kidding, thats what they are there for to be asked questions so call them anytime you feel the need

i know if i ring between 8.15 and 9 i will get them and 1250 and 1330 (their lunch) and fortunatley they are quite nice! she made the error in giving me her moby number lol.

i think we just need to chill and think our babies are ten wks further than the poor girl in DIJ and enjoy our pregnancies (although i will still be paranoid lol)

Yeah actually Lyndsey I dont think you would be good with a doppler due to the fact if you couldnt hear anything you would be in a blind panic!  Sometimes even the MW struggles and they are professionals so maybe not a great idea for me either actually   I am a terrible worrier too but I do try not to get myself in too much of a state.  I can never bloody get hold of my MW anyway...they are always out!

I know what you mean I am soo paranoid as well.  My bubs has been pretty quiet last night and this morning and I can't help but worry.  Have felt a few small kicks so think bubs has turned but can't help but worry especially when you read other stories.

i was told by MW not to buy one!! i feel sorry for that girl to think she thought she was 20wks but in fact bubs had left her at 15wks. I still wouldnt buy one as id have on permantnly. I did have docs appointment tomorrow to cure my paranoia but will cancel it now since i was at mw today.

Aaawwww glad everythings ok hun. I've had a couple days feeling like sh*t and bubs has not been moving much. Just get days like this at times. Hard not to worry especially as we are all getting so close to meeting the ickle bundles of joy now!

hey jules yeah i konw what you mean. Im a born worrier lol.

he is making his wee "gentle" movements just now ie to say "mum stop stressing woman" but the MW is really nice as she said its understandable with the stress ive been under lately ie the loosing two family members etc but im going to try and enjoy my pregnancy now xxxx

Try not to worry honey, I know its hard especially after that poor lady in DIJ, god I just logged on and read that there, how hard is today going to be for her, my heart goes out to her  

If you are in any doubt again about your wee bubs have a really ice cold drink of something and that will shift him ok   Its especially hard too when its your first but try not to worry yourself so much.

as you all konw i like to get paranoid sometimes WELL today was one of them i was worrying as i hadnt really felt bubs so true to form i phone the mw who tells me to come down - she done my measurements and im measuring 26cm rather than 24cm so thats good!! and he has a strong heartbeat and fast (she asked if i was having a girl lol i said no i was told it was a wee boy) so i need to stop worrying. I think its when i read sad things i get paranoid.
