I really did too much as work this week and really was dead on my feet friday. Baby seemed to hardly move friday and I really started to worry.

i was getting some tummy pains and was really aching. I went home and rested all last night and I do feel abit better now. Baby has been moving more today which makes me feel relieved.

I think pains could be some trapped wind and also my muscles aching from running about too much.

i thought I was going to bring on an early labour or that I was making baby sick by doing too much?!

Sounds like baby could just be pushing its way down further so different muscles and ligaments are being stretched.  I remember feelings like than when my first started to engage which was at about 30wks.  What felt like kicks were actually punches and his head burrowing down.

i have pains there too... but not as strong as you seem to be describing..

out of hours and on weekends if there is a problem i have to phone labour ward direct... they usually tell you to come up to the antenatal/postnatal ward if they're concerned. at the front of your notes you should have the numbers you have to call too. check to see and give whoever a call just to be safe....

I get stabbing pains too. I can't stand them TBH. Triage number is the first point of call at your maternity hospital. You should have a list of numbers on your notes for various departments/organisations. If not, give the hospital's number a call and ask for Triage. You need to have this number at hand to call when you are in labour (if time).

Hi ladies, I need some advice...

I have been getting these pains quite low down, feels like babys kicking me in the lady garden area!! Really painful. I cant really explain it. They are like shooting pains but really really low down and stabbing. I wanted to see if these were normal before I go phoning MW as mine is on hol and as its Saturday tomorrow. Ive not really been feeling the little man much either, but have a doppler so keep reassuring myself hes ok! I just not sure about these pains..they really take my breath away and have been happening for 2 days now, just  not all the time on and off (and a warm bath does not help!!)

    Thanks in advance
