Following an evening and morning of no movement I called the on-all midwife where I was told to go in for monitoring.

Having spent 2 hours on the trace monitor I have been allowed home.  Bub's heartbeat was detected and although a little on the lower end of normal she seemed reasonably happy with it.  There were movements detected, yet I couldn't feel a single one.  My uterus was contracting consistantly too, but not on a major scale, and this I could feel, she said it was normal it's just the BH that i don't normally feel and some that I do.

What interested me was the movement detected, she said that when you are monitored via a doppler/trace it is actually the baby responded to the ultrasound, apparently they really really dislike the noise and "feeling" they give off particularly this late in pregnancy, so what he was doing was getting out of the way of it as much as he could.  She said we could not count these as normal movements because they are stimulated, but showed he was responsive to the outside world which made her happier.

Have been told if the low movement continues through today and tonight I have to go back in the morning for further traces and investigations.

Oh and additionally the little bugger has flipped himself completely and is now breach after been head down for weeks :/
