Little cherub, we are close in dates i think. I'm now 31+4. I had a bleed on Friday mornig, a fair amount and have been in and out of maternity triage for Anti d and check ups. Thoughts of giving birth breech freak me even more than a section lol. Oh well we can all but wait and see what they say. Back at midwife on 16th so will see her opinion then. Can i just add if i didn't have a bleed on friday no one would believe me this wee girl was breech...2 midwives said ceph presentation, i got scanned to make sure all was ok and there she was....bum down.

I'm a neg too. Midwife has said we won't talk about positions too much until 34-36 wks as it can take up to this time to move. I can understand why they wouldn't incase of a bleed but may want to try and give u an extra injection just like they would if u had a bleed anyway. I guess u would get referred 2 a consultant and it would be up to him. U can refuse to have baby turned though even if ur not a neg though. so I guess its up to how u feel.

Hi Sweet Tooth - I am in exactly the same position as you!! Im also Rhesus D Neg blood group and went to see MW a couple of weeks ago, she also told me baby is breech but she told me they couldnt turn the baby for me, apparently it is too risky as it can cause slight bleeding and if the blood cells mix apparently our antibodies can attack.
She said I have to wait until week 36 to see if baby has turned head down but if not then I will have to be scanned and monitored and if still breech then I will have to have a c-section. Although another Bounty user informed me you can give birth breech but I dont know I would like to try that!!! Hope this helps you! How far are you now? Im 31+1.

That's what i thought. I am using my gymball now and doing the on fours so will wait and see. Legs are up unde ribs as well as her head so kind of awkward for her to turrn doc says, but giving it a good go. Cheers

I don't think they will try a manual turning of your baby because of the risk.
You can still try moving your lo by sitting on a gym ball, getting on all 4s etc

As title says i'm Rh d neg and baby is oblique/breech so not sure if she will turn... does anyone know if they can try and turn your baby even tho you are Rh D neg or will they leave it instead of risking cross over of blood?? Confused and worried!

Morning! Yes we are only days apart, Im 31+2 today. Its my last day at work too woohoo!!
Sorry to hear about the bleeding and I hope you are ok. I am at the midwife again on the 16th Oct too! My stomach doesnt feel as hard down the left hand side this morning, every other day I have been able to tell where my baby is lying so Im not sure if its moved position during the night. Will find out next week I suppose but I guess LO can move around a number of times by then! Just have to wait and see what happens by week 36 really dont we before the decision is made but I wouldnt fancy giving birth breech either, it would freak me out as well and I heard there can be complications with the baby too that way. Would want to risk anything!! x
