I never used bounty when carrying my ds but this time i am addicted to it and I have found out so much I didn't know and had embarrasing questions answered without being too embarrased to ask them.

I have also made friends on here and you don't find them by sitting at home and reading about pregnancy and labour from a book.

I will pop on from time to time after lo arrives but probs will be a bit busy as have ds and lo plus christmas as well but I hope not to lose touch altogether

i'm not even that keen on the pregnancy books, i find them too strict and as though we have to do everything by the rules if you know what i mean plus they make it seem really easy when in reality i bet it's not as simple as they make out!

    Yea I wouldn't have a clue!!

All my dreams that the stork brings my baby and places it on my lap have been shattered!!!

On a serious note - wouldn't have known about bleeding afterwards, or leaky boobs OR the dreaded T word.. (tearing!!).

I reckon baby book sales have went down by masses since the internet kicked off... I thought I was going to buy a few but haven't felt the need to.

    xx

...and the internet in general, i wouldn't know half of what i do about pregnancy if i didn't have it because the midwives don't tell me anything, i don't know about yours!  if i hadn't have got speaking to women on here i wouldn't know about the REAL stuff about breastfeeding for instance, about bleeding after birth even, i wouldn't even have a clue how to clothe a baby!!!  i've learnt so much lol.

bit of a random thread, just thought i'd see if anyone thought the same, i guess it might be different for those who have had babies already  ...
