It should be fine as long as you are careful about pulling it back and giving it a quick wash but make sure you don't pull back too far or try and force it or you won't get it to go back again  My son kept getting infections and at  4 he was circumcised because of the infections

DS is nearly 3 and I have never been told to do this - best thing is to ask your HV and get the proper advice. 

I'm sure it gets cleaned in the bath and the only time i would worry about it would be if it was smelly - in which case i'd go off to the docs.

DS is a year (almost lol) and I was told to leave it alone and let him play with it as he gets bigger in the bath and it would sort itself out x

my ds is nearly 4yrs old and i haven't ever done his, i was told not to till they can do it themselves. x

i was told by a pead to gently pull my sons back, but not force it iyswim for cleaning, but he kept getting infections because his hole wasnt big enough and by pulling it gently the idea was to loosen it to avoid an op, it worked, if your unsure ask your gp maybe

Thank you, my friend said that too but a few others have told me i should so was confused, thank god for that ,that i dont have to do it as its not something a mother should have to do.

My son is 28 mths and never had any problems. I just clean around the general area as does he when in the bath. Have never tried to pull the skin back.

Sorry to be rude but i have been told that i am supposed to clean under my son foreskin. sorry ladies no easy way to ask? well i haven't been but a few people have told me i should and another friends say's no. What am i supposed to do?
