Zoe - you can get the lucozade sweets in boots.

Lucy - I'd take your digital camera chick just make sure it's insured away from home in case of the dropping accident you're worried about - Disposables don't always work and you'll regret not having your own pictures later. I once used 3 disposables and 4 rolls of film on a holiday and only had 26 photos that developed correctly out of the lot, I wouldn't risk it again xx

I'm not taking anything to bath baby as last time I was in they told me they don't do that anymore and they didn't I was in there for 4 days and he never had a bath just a wipe with cotton wool n warm water he even came home with the birthing stuff still in his hair. needless to say we got it out as soon as we was home

    Oh and slippers.

And a bottle of baby bath (Again some wont let you use it, but mine ask you to bring your own)

Oh yeah, im making a wash bag up of Mini's, and if I dont use them ill just keep them for holidays etc.

And my make-up and hairbrush are always in my handbag, which hopefully i will remember to take!

And Im taking baby wipes (I think some hospitals dont allow you to use them, but the list which the midwife gave me off stuff to bring includes wipes, plus I use them for taking my eye make-up off at night time anyway)

You will need something warm for the baby to wear for coming home. Make sure you have packed an outfit for yourself, make sure it is stretchy as your tummy will not go back to what it was before you were preg right after giving birth
