Hi there, i became a dad for the first time 7 weeks ago today. Your gonna go through a lot over the next few months and its quite a test of character. Dont know if its all sunk in yet but it took me ages to realise that it was all happening, not so easy when you dont have the little package growing inside you! Took me a while to bond with my son too, not everyone feels it straight away. Best advice is stay out of the pub and bite your tongue a lot if things get a bit volatile at home. I wasnt very good at the whole support thing which i regret loads but i'm sure you'll be fine. Ya might get sympathy pains too which is all a bit odd lol

    Good luck!!

Hi Dave, Im vicky from due in jan.  Its funny you say that because my hubby has put on weight with me throughout both pregnancies, and gets tired and naps with me in the afternoons and everything - sometimes I wonder if its jut an excuse to get some extra zzz's but its nice to feel like he understands!

Hi and welcome to the forum! I'm new myself and have only been here a few days. Also a first time dad, had lo last June.

All i can say to all you expectant dads is if your planning to being at the birth, prepare to get emotionally and physically drained! Your partners will be having a tough time so you will be very very drained supporting them all the way!

Get those Red Bulls down you.
