We don't have our check at 6 weeks here, it is done at 8 weeks along side their first lot of jabs, we have ours on 8th August,

Wow bex, your Francesca is doing well with her weight, how early was she??? If she was over 37 weeks then I shouldn't imagine her development will be delayed, it could be that she was a little on the small side, although my DD1 was born at 38 weeks at 5lb, just keep an eye on her, I am sure she will be following you around and looking you in the eye soon enough she weighs just over what my Franesca did at birth bless her

Well i must admit that having 3 kids is beginning to test my parenting skills, I just find I have no time for my other 2 and my eledest is 4 going on 14 with her strops, must hurry up and get a video monitor, everytime my back is turned one of the girls is in there like a shot proding and poking her. Hope everyone is well.

francesca had her 6 week check today. she weighed 6lb 10 (birth weight was 4lb 14). everything good. except, they asked me if she followes us round with her eyes when we walk round the room and she doesnt. also, she doesnt do much eye contact unless she feels like it. they didnt seem to be concerned and said there was nothing wrong with her eyes. could it be because she was early and small?

Hello to all the lovely due in june ladies. I hope you are all well? My little boy is now 12 days old. When he was born he weighed 7lb 9oz, and today he weighs 8lb 15oz! Im really pleased he's put on weight. But its already easy to see how they say they dont stop babies for long. I really hope you are all enjoying your new bundles of joy as much as me. xx

    congratulations

Louis' cord was really smelly, I hated it, was so happy when it fell off.

I still haven't given him a proper bath yet, just been cleaning him with ctton wool and water with a bit of baby wash it, too scared to put him in the bath, when Owain was little he would scream the house down in the bath, loves them now though

    xx

    hello hellie

WOW never thought you would make it here....LOL

i have tried to do the same with Abby but she is such a cuddly baby and realy loves her hugs..

DS2 is a nightmare the minute back is turned he is over there kissing her - which results in her waking up, have tried to explain but he is only 3 and loves his sister...#

Glad you are here now - can't believe Abby is 5 weks on Thuirsday already

seemed a lifetime getting here and now 5 weeks have nearly gone

Oh I love that I can join you all now!

I really hope Noah doesnt change cause at the moment he's Bf REALLY well and then sleeps for 4-5hours and then feeds really well again etc, he hardly cries at all!

He's really mucusy still though which is very frightening at times, I adore him but I'm being very good and putting him in his chair and letting him go off on his own rather than cuddling him loads (but I really want to lol) I'm making sure that Jess, Abigail and Ethan are getting plenty of time and loads of cuddles with Noah as well So far they all absolutely adore him!

    Morning all.

I am so proud of Jessica, she is smiling lots and only 3 weeks 2 days old.  Very clever little madam indeed!

I think she is having a growth spurt as feeding has been pretty intense, she takes both boobs and has been going every two hours during the day.  Really proud I have managed to get to this point with the breastfeeding, long may it continue.  After trying and failing with my first baby it's twice as sweet to have managed this time around.

We are getting some better behaviour from her big brother too, although still getting lots of bad behaviour, it's a start.  I went for a walk to the supermarket yesterday and had a look around the estate, we have a couple of parks pretty nearby, so will take him out on Monday to see if that helps him burn off the naughty energy.

Am really looking forward to seeing the girls I met up with pre-pregnancy, I hope the barbecue is still on for when everyone is feeling up to it.  I am very excited about seeing just what those big tummies have turned out like.  Bex is coming to mine on Tuesday, so I get to coo over her baby, and trying to get Esta here too so I can coo over hers, but you can never have too many babies to coo over...
