This is a brilliantly funny thread! I've had you'll have to stop her feeding so often, i'm bf on demand so sod off. One person said are you coping ok, what am I meant to say as I see them infrequently. People ask me when she was 4 weeks old why couldn't I attend a party in the evening? Still the mil complimented me on how well I was losing weight and what a good job I was doing with her, so not all bad

i think the worst comment i have had to put up with recently was up my mil house when one of their relations turns up, holds my baby girl and starts swearing, i mention i dont like swearing around her and would not let her swear when she is older and she turns to my baby and says "say f***off mummy dont be silly" how bad is that!

I get the 'is he good?' too!

Also 'isn't he sleeping through yet?' (at 4 weeks old!)

Your giving him too much milk

    Your not feeding him enough

He's crying in the evening so he must have colic!

Don't let him push his legs on you it will make him bow legged

    From my DP -

    I'm tired

    me - yeah me too

DP - why are you tired you don't do anything all day! Your not going to work like I am (he is a taxi driver and can choose when to work! - if at all half the time!!)

Oh no I do all the feeding and changing bums on our 7week old and 2 year old, I cook and clean and then he moans that I don't want sex! FFS I'm knackered!

DP -  I've worked all weekend I need a lie in

where's my bloody lie in! He gets one if he is at work and to recover afterwards too!

    Others are -

oooh why you had them so close together?

You shouldn't have anymore its too much for you! WTF?!!!!!!!

You haven't lost the weight as quickly this time

    You look pale/ill/tired/depressed etc

    Are you coping?

I could go on all night! lol

My sil's partner asked me if my labour went ok? Well, he's here isn't he & I'm still in one piece, so wtf do you think....

Then, while patting his own nether reigions, he asked me if everything was back to normal...... What the hell has that got to do with you???? I don't wish to discuss the goings on of my birth canal with most people. Least of all you, you fecking oddball!!

Two things that were said to me in the first week after having my lo

    1.  Whilst hubby was pushing lo around another shop, I was buying some more nursing bars from M & S and the assistant said "Have you got long to go?" and I replied "Erm, I had him last Friday", she laughed and tapped my jelly belly grrrrrrrr

    2. First time seeing step-daughter after giving birth "I thought you'd be thinner"  thanks, yeah thanks.
