Hija, my friends babe was born at 24weeks. She started weaning him when he was 4 months old. It was a little strange as he was the same size as Robyn (and she was only 2 weeks old) when he started solids.
Iya, My baby was 5 weeks early. I started weaning at 14 weeks real age...
I meant (probably corrected age) .. just to be on the safe side. BUT you know your baby best so you will see the signs when they come x
I would go with his actual age!
I think my baby will be ready to be weaned at an early age but won't do it before the minimum recomended 17 weeks. However, he was nearly 4 weeks early- do I go with his actual age or his corrected age (meaning I wait til he is 20+weeks)?

Hiya not from here but having a nosey!
My dd was born at 35+5 and she was weaned at the recommended 26 weeks (it's actually 6 months now that is recommended exclusive BFeeding). My Hv advised me to keep going as close to the 26wks as possible due to her being early. It meant a few extra milk feeds for a couple of weeks, she wasn't starving by any means. She's now 16 months and thriving!! I wouldnt rush it if I were you unless you are advised to and he is really hungry. Maybe the thicker milk (think you get stuff for hungry babies?) may be enough to keep him going a bit longer?
