its- E-eat A-activity S-sleep Y-you
havent personally used it but have heard of it sorry dont know much more than that LOL!! our routine is just Ava has 6oz bottles every 4 hours (she has been 4 hourly since birth) its always 6-10-2-6-10 and after her 6pm bottle she has a bath at 7.30 and then bed at 8 everynite, she wakes for her 10pm bottle then sleeps till 6 its total bliss!!! im so glad i have managed to stick to the same thing everyday because i never bothered with ds and he was a total nightmare, he only started going to bed properly from 2 year old, partly down to the fact that i never botherd and didnt really now how to do a routine, and i think doin it a younger age is so much easier good luck xx

with ds i used the baby whispered 'easy' routine (which is basicaaly 3 hour cycles of eating, activity, sleeping) and it worked well with him, he was bf. i still found myself getting stressy if he didnt do waht he 'should' be doing at a particular time. this time round tilly has just had to fit in with whatever is happening and she seems fine for it! has fallen into a good routine during the day, sleeps a lot up til 3pm then stays awake til bedtime at 630 or so - has started sleeping longer duing the night now. the basic daily routine is there for ds (getting up, meals, bedtime etc) so its not been too hard to get her sort of routined

I have had Holly on the E.A.S.Y. routine by Tracy Hogg 'the baby whisperer' since she was about 5 weeks old. I have found that she is so much more relaxed and settled since we've been doing it. You're not watching the clock like a lot of other routines either which is what I like about it. You should check out her books

my lo has just turned 7 weeks and he too feeds every 3 -4 hours in day and in night can go 5 hours between feeds, i am breastfeeding so not sure how much taking, the weight sounds great as mine is 12 lbs so looks like your doing well. he too isn't in routine but my other lo was by this stage. i am putting it down to theirbeing another child and that i havent the time to concentrate on imputting a routine like i did with other ds. i did however start keeping a record and was surprised at how much of a routine he did have once i had it written down inf ront of me. if lo is falling asleeep between feeds and you dont think he/she has had enough coudl you wake them up by doing a nappy change inbetween and then feeding after. this is what i do and it means i am feeding for an hour maybe but at leats i know lo is well fed before falling asleep and he seems to go longer.

my wee man is 8weeks and i can't seem to get him into a routine my 2 girls were in routines by this age,he's feeding every 3hrs and around 8oz each feed apart from the middle of the night when it's 3oz but sometimes he'll take a couple of ounces fall asleep then another few an hr later i have a toddler so as you can imagine i would like a routine,he weighs 15lb hv thinks this fine and he is a hungry baby just not sure how to break his habits plus he sleeps all morning!

hi my ds is 12 weeks and has slept through since he was 8 weeks - he feeds 7oz every 3 hours in day last feed about 8/9 pm he has half of his last feed, then 30 mins on changing mat with no nappy/clothes a bath then into a dimly lit, quite room to finish bottle, cuddle and sleep. i have changed the time to suit out day and he always knows it is bedtime and we don't have any trouble.
