hi try a swaddling blanket before you breast feed as they feel snug and secure, then when you move the ittle un away, hopefully they will go off to sleep as they havent been jolted awake when you have moved them. my little girl is 6 days old and using a blanket, i wake once in the night to her!

Don't worry about a routine. She's still brand new. I'd just let thing setle down & see what she wants. She'll settle into a routine soon enough, then if you want you can work on trying to change it to suit you.

dont worry bout routine work around them. my boy is 12weeks and now he is getting his own routine. they rule the roost im afraid. i tried getting a routine but it didnt work, my  boy now goes to bed between 7;30 and 8 and he decided that. try not to cuddle her too much else she'll stay attached to you. try a bouncy chair to get her too sleep then take her to bed, it was the only way i could get my boy to go sleep

    Hi all

My lo is just 9 days old today, we have no routine and at the moment are happy to work around her, but I people go on about having a routine.

She is breast feed, so at the moment it is on demand (3 to 3and half hours), She has been geeting fed at 10ish and put in her baby grow for bed, we then try to go to bed aswell,

should I be putting her up earlier with the monitor onor at what stage should I do it?

Also anyone got any advice on how to settle her after she hasbeen fed during the ight, she will sleep being held, but starts to cry once put in her crib
