GC from 4 - 6 months. Bensmummy, please dont listen to your hv.  Yes some people dont have periods whilst bf but some do.  I was exclusively bf my lo up untill last few weeks (shes 28wks now) i started my periods at 12 weeks and have been having them since, they are not into my normal cycle yet though.  Vary from 2 wks to 4 wks.  Just wanted you to know that yes you can have them.

thanks for advice, spoke to hv and she said that when exclusively bfing you cant have period so reckons its as a result of sex and should clear up soon.

it could be either honey i had my first period 8 weeks after ds was born and it was really light and pain free where as i was expecting the opposite we will have to see what next one is like lol i did bleed a little after we done it the first time 9 weeks after birth!! i had tummy ache and ver sore down bellow x xx x

Sometimes sex can start bleeding off as can having an orgasm so it might just be a little bleed. Iv no idea though as could be your period but if you think it not like your periods usally are maybe its not. None of that makes sence lol x

dh and i had sex for first time last night since lo ws born 7 weeks ago but today have woken up bleeding, i am wondering if its my period starting as have tummy ache alittle with it or if its a result of sex ????? i haven't got much period pain which is what makes me doubt its a period as i remeber with ds1 my first period was very painful..... any ideas ????
