hi great to see some familiar names.  My baby was due sept 7th but due to placenta praevia and a lack of platelets i was admitted to hosp august 13th and Anya Grace was born by emergency section on August 19th.  She weighed 6lb 4oz  but is now a healthy bf baby weighting 9lb 4oz.  She smiles and is starting to coo and I just love being an older mum.

Hi - my dd was born 5 weeks early on 10th August - her due date was 12th Sept.  She is absolutely gorgeous, can't believe my luck.  Didn't have a traumatic labour but went into hospital 3 days before she was born due to waters breaking, labour was induced, and we were still in there 5 days after.

She had jaundice and was in an incubator, next to my bed, having photo therapy.  I'll post some pictures of her too.  She is a gorgeous little girl (yes, I'm biased lol) and although not sleeping through yet, isn't too bad.

Hey I was due Oct. 13th but due to multiple birth I delivered via C-section the beautiful Louise, Chloe and Ellie on Sep. 4th. All three girls did extremely well in hospital and we were home after 10 days. They have continued to thrive at home and are very well behaved which is a massive bonus with three! Pictures are in my album for those who want to see - they are gorgeous!

    Hey all!

I was due in september, the 16th. My lo was born 7 days late on the 23rd, so she's 17 days today! She's soooo beautiful. I did start out breastfeeding but had to stop at 10 days due to a number of reasons, I'm so gutted about that but it was for the best. Other than that I'm loving being a mummy, and I love all the cuddles with my gorgeous baby girl. Hope you're all doing well.

hi everyone, i had my little one Emma 2 days late on the 15th september after being induced due to no contractions after waters broke.

I could not ask for a more perfect little girl, her birth weight was 8lb 9oz and today weighs 9lb 14oz, she feeds really well , and is very alert and loves looking around.

Night time is a dream with her , we settled into a pattern from day 1 , which is bath at 7pm , and after getting dried and babygro on i swaddle her and give her a feed , she is in bed for 8pm and wakes once around 3am for another feed and is back to bed fairly quickly and then is up at 6 . i cannot believe my luck

i wish i could post a pic but dont know how to upload them.

I was due sept 28th, had baby imogen on 10th by emergency c section after 2 days of induction and 11 hours of unprogressive and very painful labour!  Imogen is gorgeous, but haven't got to the stage yet where I'd say it was totally worth the pain!  I'm a fairly tolerant person - or so I thought. But the 9 months of pregnancy were hell, I did develop a disease which I'm now stuck with for rest of my life, so its been hard going and then followed by a horror delivery and a long stay in SCBU for the bubs and no proper post natal care for me. (long story!)

4 Weeks on - we are laughing again and getting happier - feels a lifetime since I last laughed.  I'm no longer scared to leave the house because Imo is due a feed, or might need changed etc.  We're getting out and about which is brill.

Its hard work - its challenging work - but it is the most rewarding work I've ever done.  I think being a mum is the best job in the world - don't ever want to return to work.

Kate - first time mummy to Imogen and in no rush to ever go through it ever again x
