is it just speculation hun? I had asthma but grew out of it by the time i was 13. To be honest iv never heard of calpol bieng linked to asthma but completly understand why you are reluctant to give it to lo. Best thing is to ask the doc what its all about and see if there is another medicine that you could giv lo that doesnt have paracetamol in it? sorry not much help really xx

my eldest who is 11 has acute asthma, i saw on the news that they think paracetmol in babyhood can give a much higher risk? mosty if you use it regulary.
I gave her some for her jabs at 8 w, she has had a cold and i held of, then she has her 12 w jabs this friday, shall i give it too her im a bit stressed about it after watching what dd goes through
