christine did you got to your HV about it? if so i would make a complaint. she should have advised you to offer a little bit less milk every 2 hours to stop him being sick.

sorry haven't been on here for a couple of days having a new bathroom fitted a been a bit of a nightmare .......plus if I'm honest some of the posts that were coming through about weaning Blake too early were annoyong me as a many of the posts said thats not what I asked just wondered why he was being funny with baby rice yet ok with fruit .......maybe I shouldn't have posted his age .....can't beleiveve the reaction I've caused ..... the reason I decided to try him with solids was that he was screaming for his bottles before 3 hours then draining 7-8 ozs and often being sick .....tried hungry baby milk and very sick with that .....anyway off now sorry caused such a stir..... thanks  to all those who gave advice decided to favour rice in the future ......thanksXX

Ah, how confusing. When the OP re-posted the age of her LO I think people assumed that the OP felt her baby's age was important to the matter.

i sencond that ! i dont mind the gidlines being mentioned but not over and over again ! also i dont agree with rushing things but i DO think you know when your baby is truely ready. my dd was getting through 180z sma white every hour and thats when hv said try her on food so yeah i believe she was telling me that she was ready. with josh im not gonna say im going to wait till 6 months because if he does the same  then yeah i will do from 17 weeks. and come on ladies those of ur that have had more than 1 child knows how much things change like what u can and cant eat when pregnant to what u can and cant give a child... i blame sodding jamie oliver ! lol and as for obesity i blame that more on what parents give children growing up rather than weaning earlie !  as for original poster try mixing another flavour with the rice such as fruit i think heinze do baby jared fruit from 4 months. also to who ever said about food labels if the government thought it that much of a risk under 6 months then they would not allow food companies to continue printing labels! on one of the previous posts someone gave a link to guidlines and it actually said 4-6 months.

so so so so so so so so so so so so so very upsetting!!!!!! im tired of seeing this rubbish same people gatecrashing a simple question to just get a response. Easy why not put your own thread up about the dangers of early weaning ............ oops you already did lol.

this was not about weaning as the mother clearly stated her bubs doesnt like the taste of rice (well understandable) it was not a thread asking when to wean her bub as she has made her choice so who on earth do you think you are having a go at people for there decisions ???? Yes youv outlined the problems AGAIN give it a rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
