He is 4 weeks on sunday so just checking with hv what i can give him - they open at 9.  i think its just wind although he was crying quite bad last night so may be onset of colic.  it seems hiccuping is the only way he can get rid of the wind.  i just wish he would have at least one good sleep - im so tired its awful.

he may be a bit colicky at night? have u tried, gripe water he can have that at 4 weeks, its worth trying everything, we went through it all as maddie was really bad at that age all evening constant crying, we got to colief and omg changed baby!

I tried to take her of it the other day and she went back to the evening crying

She slept after that all night and has done since, she is 12 weeks now.

Colief is for bf as well have a look at it, try the others first, lots of winding, wrapping,  its hard i know hun but it will pass as baby gets bigger, hang in there

my little one is nearly 4 weeks old and he has been doing ok but the last two days i just cant get him to sleep at all - he is just having ten minutes here and there and thats it - he (and therefore me as well) has been awake now for 2 days and i cant do much more.

i am feeding him every hour so will start at say 11 and by the time i have fed and winded him its about 11:40 then he goes to sleep for twenty minutes and wants feeding again.  he is bf and wont take formula at all so cant give him to anyone else for long periods - i can express but only about 4 ounces a day so that will only last a couple of hours.

i really dont know what to do - i have tried everything cuddles, rocking and pushing in pram - none of it works.  everything was going so well before this started and now i feel like i cant do anything right and i cant tell whats wrong with him - dont know what to do.

Any help would be great.
